Christian looked at Elle. Her eyes said, you -can't- let-your- mother- die-because-of-someone-else.
His heart was heavy. Why did his mother have to make things so difficult for him?
"Yes- Yes Mom, I'll marry Elle." He sighed.
She dropped the knife on the table.
"You will really marry her?" Claudeen walked to him happily and held his hands.
He refused to look at her eyes, "Yeah, I will marry her."
Elle ran to him and hugged him.
"Oh Christian, I love you."
He was furious but he couldn't show it for the fear his mother would hurt herself again.
Claudeen smiled at the both of them, "You guys look perfect for each other." She couldn't contain her joy.
Christian disengaged from the hug, "I have to go somewhere." He left them.
When he was outside, he punched the wall.
"Why is she bent on ruining my life?" He clenched his fists.
