The next day, Sebastian woke up very late in the morning because he was stressed up from last night. Liam has been watching his rigorous moves of recent, and he couldn't hide his suspicions anymore. He waited for Sebastian to wake up from his slumber, before bombarding him with questions.
Sebastian left his bedroom, heading to the bathroom to wash his face. Liam was at the living room playing a video game.
Sebastian joined him later on, and Liam assumed it was the best time to talk about it. Liam paused the video game, while Sebastian looked at his furiously. He also wanted to play the game withLiam.
"Why did you pause it?". Sebastian asked him.
"I'll continue once I'm done discussing with you." Liam opened up.
"What's the issue?". He asked worriedly.
Liam turned towards Sebastian's direction, while Sebastian wondered what's going on in his head now. Liam took in a deep breath before saying a word.
"You returned home very late last night." Liam said to him.
"What about that?". Sebastian asked him.
"I'm not trying to cross my boundary but I have been watching your recent moves lately." Liam revealed to him.
Sebastian exhaled, looking at Liam. He hates someone stalking him like he's a child. He wouldn't have even known, if Liam didn't bring up the topic now.
"I went on a dinner date with Bianca." Sebastian said to Liam.
"Huh!!?." Liam exclaimed out of shock.
"Yeah. Please stop stalking me." Sebastian pleaded with Liam.
Liam was still pondering on Sebastian's words and he lost focus all of a sudden. He found his reply fishy and needed an explanation, to clear off whatever he was thinking inside his head right now.
"Are you in a relationship with her now?". Liam asked him concernedly.
"Hell no." He resented immediately.
"Why then did you go out with her on a date last night?". Liam asked him unconvinced.
Sebastian felt like it wasn't Liam's business. He refused talking further, and snatched the game pads from Liam's hands. Sebastian continued the game from where Liam stopped. Liam was engrossed with jealousy.
"You've started falling in love with her." Liam said to him.
"Okay, if that's what you think." Sebastian said to him, with his eyes still fixed on the television.
"If you're not in love with her, then why are you trying to get her round you?". Liam asked him enviously.
Sebastian shook his head, trying not to get into any drama with Liam. Liam stood up from the couch, leaving the sitting room. Sebastian obviously knew that Liam was being jealous now.
On the other hand was me, packing my dirty clothes into a laundry basket. Mum entered Jasmine's bed room, and both of them had a lot to ask me from last night.
"My child is in love I guess." Mum teased me from the door.
"How did it happen?". Jasmine asked, while they laughed together.
I looked at them confusedly, not having any clue of what they were saying. Jasmine sat next to me on the bed, while I drifted away from her, giving her a dead look.
"What are the both of you up to?". I asked her.
"I went through your gallery earlier this morning, and I found this." Jasmine said to me, showing me a picture of I and Sebastian on her phone.
"Don't tell me you shared that picture to your phone." I said to her furiously.
Jasmine stood up from the bed, while she and mum teased me. I was already annoyed by their little drama. I wondered how they found out about last night. I had no clue that they stalked me last night.
"You even went on a dinner date with the man you hate so much." Jasmine added.
"That was Zoey's idea." I replied her.
"You would have totally refused from going on the date." Mum said to me.
"She would've ran away again." I replied her.
Mother approached me, cupping my face. She wanted to tell me what Zoey wanted. Seemed like there was more to this, which I had no idea about.
"Where will she run to? She's obviously using that to scare you." Mum said to me.
"No don't say that. She did it before." I replied.
"She wants the both of you to get into a romantic relationship." Mum said to me.
I laughed at her words, because it is impossible. I will never agree to ever date Sebastian like I did in the past. He's likened to a moron and a beast. I disagreed with that.
"I know mum, but I won't do that." I bluntly said.
"Don't you intend starting up a new relationship?". Jasmine asked me.
"I haven't found my match yet." I said to her.
Jasmine smiled at my reply, and it seemed like she have a suggestion to make. She picked up her phone, going through some pictures in her gallery. She showed me a picture of a tall young man, which she termed as a CEO of one of the richest companies here in Manchester city.
"He is my childhood friend. He's looking for a date." Jasmine said to me.
"Date him then. He's handsome." I suggested.
"Silly. You're the one that I want for him." Jasmine said to me.
"She can only date someone her daughter would agree to be her new father." Mum said.
I nodded my head, agreeing with mother. That's a life of a single mother. I have not been able to move on with another guy because of Zoey. She never wanted any of my male friends to be her future father. The only one she have agreed for me, was the man I hate so much.
"What's the need of dating someone my daughter won't approve to be her father?". I asked Jasmine.
"..and the one she approved now?". Jasmine replied me back with a question.
"Unfortunately, that's her biological father." Mum opened up.
Zoey heard mother's last words from the door, and she quickly barged in curiously. She wanted to find out about what we were talking about. We were all in shock, and hoped she didn't hear us at all.
"You people were talking about my biological father right?". Zoey asked us.
"What do you mean?". Mother asked her, exchanging glances with I and Jasmine.
"I heard you granny. You said someone was my biological father." She said to mother.
I tried speaking up, but Jasmine stopped me. She didn't want me to expose anything I had no clue about protecting later in the future. Zoey got emotional again, and felt that we were hiding her father's identity from her again.
"We were talking about Jasmine and her family." Mum lied.
"Yes, yes she's right. It's not a news that my father is wild, but afterall he's still my biological father." Jasmine added, pulling up a fake sad face.
Zoey looked at Jasmine, wiping off her tears with the back of her hand. She didn't know what to believe anymore. She might have moved on from the truth temporarily, but she still wanted to find her real father.
"I'll find my father soon. I'll reunite with him soon." Zoey dared us leaving.
I tried going after her, but mum and Jasmine stopped me. They dragged me back to the bed, but I was only being worried about my child. I was getting scared again, and my fears were slowly coming back to me.
"Should I just give up and tell everyone the truth?". I asked them in tears.
"You'll eventually lose her if you do that." Jasmine said to me.
"I'm tired." I sobbed like a baby on mum's shoulder, while she comforted me.
Zoey went to the living room, crossing her leg over the other on the couch sobbing. She misses her dad again. She really wanted to be with her father like all of her friends, but unfortunately she didn't have the opportunity to do so.
