Zoey's third bucket list was a dinner date for I and Sebastian. I haven't gotten over the last one yet. She already had plans for our outfits for the dinner date.
It was already nine o' clock at a dot, in the evening. I was dressed up on the yellow ball gown she gave to me.
A private cab came over to our place, to take me to the venue for the dinner date. Jasmine and mum were peeping from the a window at Jasmine's bedroom. Zoey caught them peeping, and they had lots of questions to ask her. They noticed our strange moves lately, and they couldn't ignore it anymore.
"Hum hmm." Zoey coughed out aloud on a purpose.
She caught their attention, and they removed their eyes from the window, pretending to get busy with other things. Zoey walked up to them, folding her arms with a straight face.
"Why were you spying on my mum?". Zoey asked them.
"Us?". Both of them asked Zoey in unison.
"Yes. I caught the both of you." She exposed them.
Jasmine and mother were tired of playing around, and they finally decided to open up about their curiosity. Mother decided to ask Zoey the first question.
"What's going on? Where was that private cab taking her to?". Mum asked Zoey.
"On a dinner date with Mr Sebastian." Zoey answered mother.
Mum and Jasmine exchanged glances, laughing out together. They couldn't believe their ears at all. Both of them were doubting Zoey's words.
"You're kidding right?". Jasmine asked Zoey doubtfully.
"No I'm not." Zoey responded seriously.
"Your mother hates Sebastian so much." Mother said to Zoey.
Zoey raised her shoulders, smirking. She walked round the bedroom, while they await what she wanted to say next. Both Jasmine and Mother gave her strange looks.
"Let's say I'm the director of this movie." Zoey said with a smile.
"Stop setting her up. Bianca is not used to things like this." Mum warned Zoey.
"Exactly." Jasmine supported her.
Zoey looked at mother with a mimicking face. She was trying to mimick mother's expression, and mum wasn't finding it funny at all. That was really a rude thing to do.
"Better stop that." Mum warned her annoyingly.
"This is exactly how you look, when you say things like that. How I'm manipulating my own mother?". Zoey asked her.
"You're compelling her to get close to a man that used to beat her in the past." Mother opened up.
Zoey nodded her head, while mother and Jasmine exchanged glances together. Zoey was fully aware of that, and they were wondering why she still continued with her silly games.
"But my mum isn't complaining or is she?". Zoey asked them.
"She wouldn't complain infront of you because she's scared that you'll run away like last time." Jasmine said.
"Oh really?". Zoey asked her naughtily.
★★At The Venue★★
The location for the dinner date was mind blowing. It was really looking nice and the taste was giving an expensive taste for rich people. I came down from the cab, looking round the place with admiration in my eyes.
"Wow, here is really beautiful." I whisphered to myself.
"Ma'am, here is the way." The cab man said to me, showing me the way inside.
I nodded my head with a widened smile, following him behind. I entered inside the expensive hotel, heading to the table for the dinner date. Getting there, I was amazed by the romantic decor and the mild music playing in the background.
I thanked the cab man, taking a seat. He left me all alone, leaving.
Few minutes later, Sebastian joined me at the table. He couldn't stop looking at me, and his looks got me uncomfortable.
"Your dress looks so beautiful tonight." He said to me.
"That's definitely not a compliment." I attacked him with a frown.
"We've been getting close these few days." He said, cutting a slice of chocolate cake on the table.
I looked away, still admiring the background. Whosoever came up with this, needed an award or a little gift of appreciation. My eyes were already fed up by the goodness.
"Are you in for a dance?". Sebastian asked me.
"Me?". I asked him with a surprised look.
"Yes, you." He replied.
He stood up, walking towards my seat. I sat there, not moving a bit. He brought out his hand before me, while I just continued looking at him. I didn't want to ruin the moment, so I finally brought forth my own hand, while he took it. He pulled me up to my feet, placing his arm round my waist. He pushed me gently towards him, while I landed on his chest. I was standing very close to him now and I couldn't even breathe anymore, because of the tension.
I raised up my face, looking at his face. He caught me looking at him. I was very tensed like I would pass out any minute. He placed one of my hands round his neck, while he grabbed the other hand, raising it up. We danced a solo dance quietly, in the same rhythmic beat with the music playing at the background.
"Sebastian why are you taking this dinner date serious? You obviously know that it means nothing to you." I asked him worriedly.
"Zoey wanted this right?". He asked me.
"Even though. We're enemies and nothing has changed." I replied him.
We danced for about ten minutes, before returning back to out seats. Sebastian forcefully fed me without my consent and I was shy because people were already looking at us now.
We took some pictures together, because that was Zoey's wish. The meals at the table were really nice and tasty.
"I'm being very careful so as not to ruin the moment." Sebastian said to me.
"Thanks atleast for the sake of my child." I thanked him.
While we were still having some conversations, a lady on a mini exposing gown walked up to us at our table. It seemed like she is an exotic dancer, looking for a wealthy man to seduce tonight.
She sat on Sebastian's lap, while I looked at them wondering what the drama was all about now.
"Are you in for some fun tonight?". She asked him shamelessly.
"What are you doing? Didn't you see me with a lady here?". He asked her quietly.
"I did and I don't care. I want you for tonight." She said, chuckling.
I was already getting infuriated by everything. I had to call her attention over to me, so that she would be aware that I wasn't entertaining her rubbish tonight.
"Are you blind miss?". I asked her rudely.
"You're obviously the blind one here. It's not like he's your husband." She clapped back at me.
"Excuse yourself out immediately." I ordered her.
Sebastian was surprised to see me sound like that, because he knew that I'll never fight over him. I stood up from my chair, walking up to them. I dragged the lady out of his lap, while she tried raising her hand on me. Sebastian rose up immediately and stopped her from doing so.
"How dare you?". He asked her, while I stood there looking at both of them shocked by his action.
"Stop pretending like you love her. She's probably one of the ladies you brought out there, to just have fun with. I know you will dump her anytime soon." The lady said to him, laughing out loud.
I felt disrespected by her words, but she wasn't wrong actually. Men like Sebastian are ruthless and disgusting. They use and dump ladies however they liked.
"She's not any other lady. Some women are for keeps while women like you are for fun." Sebastian insulted her.
"You're crazy dude. You've gone insane." She insulted him back, walking away.
I was shocked that he supported me infront of that irritating lady. I returned back to my seat speechless. I kept giving him side eyes, wondering the reason behind his changing behavior. Something was definitely wrong somewhere.
"Why did you pretend like you cared about me?". I asked him.
"I don't care what you think right now, but everything I said earlier was the truth." He responded back at me harshly.
"I'm not used to this kind side of you. It irks me so much." I confessed.
Sebastian was surprised to hear that, and he was expecting me to thank him for his kind attitude towards me earlier.
We rounded off the dinner date, and finally we returned back to the cab.
"Thank you for tonight." I said to him inside the car, turning away my face.
"I'm a monster remember." Sebastian used my words against me.
"..and I have to put up with the monster because of Zoey." I said, not realizing I was smiling now.
Sebastian noticed the smile on my face, and didn't want to ask me why I was smiling now. The cab dropped us off at our different locations. I glanced through those pictures we took earlier, before going to bed.
