Aron kept on walking until he grew tired. He sat under the shade of a tree for the time being and took deep breaths.
His mind kept working on the matter of listing his favorite abilities.
Aron was not like mages or other pathtakers, who had spells and abilities according to their class.
He had a lot of freedom when it came to using his abilities, but it was hard to keep on imagining constantly using his abilities.
He tried to name a favorite of his abilities, and then when the need arose, the only thing he would need to do was think of the name of the ability he wanted to use.
At that point, his mind would become accustomed to using the ability itself, and all other things, including knowledge and other things, would not be a problem for him anymore.
"First of all, I would like to name the 'Energy Bullet' 'Bullet Spell.'"
Aron closed his eyes, thought of the name of the bullet, and then cast an energy bullet spell. In less than one second, an energy bullet manifested on the top of his head, ready to shoot.
Aron nodded and then opened his eyes. With him opening his eyes and willing it, the energy bullet spell vanished.
"This is easy to do."
Aron was no fool. It was true that he had never been a mage before or had any important combat experience, but that did not mean that he did not know what he should do when it came to his situation.
"First of all, I need to have more favorite spells for each category of the battle; these, I guess, should be 'defensive,' 'attack,' 'intelligence,' and 'passive.'"
Aron believed that he needed a defensive spell to favor so that he could use it instantly, an intelligence spell that he could use to look around and feel the danger, and a passive spell that would always be active, granting him several advantages over his enemies.
"I have a 'bullet' when it comes to attack ability; for the time being, I need to focus on defense and intelligence first."
Aron kept looking around as he thought about his future abilities. The fact that he always needed to keep looking around showed that he needed an intelligence-gathering type of ability.
If not, considering the dangers in these lands, even a lucky hit from a mysterious monster might be enough to end his life. He did not want to die, and he did not want to die like a chicken.
Aron stopped for a second and then furrowed his brows as he spoke within his mind.
"The Voice, can I ask about your ability to tell you if it is going to work for me or not? I mean, my level is enough for me to do what I want."
The voice answered after two seconds.
"The user can ask, but the answer will not be clear or definite if the question involves secrets."
Aron nodded and then asked.
"Can I create a radar-type ability? I can imagine how it works and know about it. Also, I have a pretty good idea of how to control my energy with it."
The voice answered.
"The user can create it, but the effect of the ability will be limited by the amount of energy the user is allocating to the ability itself; if the user wants to see the limit of it, they need to discover it themselves."
Aron took a deep breath. He was happy that he got at least a positive answer. He did not expect much.
He closed his eyes and imagined how a 'radar' works, then added how it worked and knowledge about the radar—at least what he knew about it—and then started controlling his energy according to his plan.
He sent sphere-shaped pulse waves of energy around. Seconds later, he started feeling what was around him; he felt like he was seeing the world throughugh a bird's eye for a second.
"Ahh"
Aron felt a sharp pain in his head, and then The Voice started talking.
"Radar ability added to favorites of the user; as the user thought before, the limit of the radar is 5000 diameters."
Warning: At 5000 diameters of area, users can only use it for one minute, even after using all of their energy.
