Aron looked in front of himself and noticed a road.
Made by intelligent creatures, most likely humans, he assumed.
Seconds later, he started seeing caravans of people moving on the road.
"So, there are people here; it is good to know.".
Aron felt great after seeing some people.
In the end, at this point in this place and universe, it would not be good to assume that the towns and other settlements were made by humans.
Considering that there are other races in this place, he does not want to encounter a race that would kill humans on sight.
"Let's keep on going."
After ten minutes of walking, Aron saw walls made of stone. On the top of the walls, there are armored men with spears.
He smiled and then noticed that around him were many people.
Some of them were teams, and some of them were trading caravans, he assumed.
Some of them were mysterious, wearing gray and other colored cloaks and moving silently.
"In the end, I saw no man or woman travel alone."
"It seems like only fools like me travel alone."
Aron thought.
He got close to the entrance of the town, and a man with a blue helmet looked at him as he was about to enter.
"Is it your first time entering the Red Fire?"
The man was authoritative but not arrogant. Aron turned to look at the guard and scan it.
------
"Red Fire Guard"
"Level 3"
------
There was not much information that he could gather, but he did not care and answered the guard.
"Yes, I will be entering the Red Fire for the first time. Is there a problem?"
The guard smiled and shook his head. He was a young man, similar to the age of Aron.
"There is not a problem; it is just not an everyday occurrence to see people like you traveling alone without any protection whatsoever."
Aron nodded and then asked.
"May I enter?"
The guard nodded and said nothing much.
Aron then entered the Red Fire for the first time.
After Aron entered, a middle-aged guard seemingly more experienced than Aron came to the side of the young guard and asked.
"What did you talk with that man that just entered?"
The young guard shook his head, showing that it was not that important.
"I just asked him if he were to enter for the first time. It seemed odd that he was traveling alone in these lands."
The middle-aged guard did not know that Aron was traveling alone. After hearing from the young guard himself, his eyes turned serious.
"You are young; you may not know that I can tell you about these people."
The young guard's face turned curious as the middle-aged guard spoke.
"What is it?"
"It is simple; in my years of guarding this place and traveling with the caravans, I learned that those who have the guts to travel alone in these wretched lands. Those are the people you should not mess with."
The young guard stopped for a second and then asked.
"Why so?"
The middle-aged guard smiled, seemingly remembering something from the past, and added.
"It is simple: those who trust themselves enough to travel alone are most likely people with power, and their power most likely comes from themselves."
The young guard thought about it for a second, then supported himself using his spear and added.
"So, they are not like the people from rich and strong families. They trust themselves, not their backing."
The middle-aged guard nodded.
"Good, you understand it quickly. Those who are from powerful families not only have the guts to travel alone; they would be the ones who set up a team of ten strong manguards to travel."
"Those who have many things to lose and not the power to protect themselves were the ones who hired many people to protect their lives."
The young guard nodded and said nothing as he looked at the entrance of the town. I was trying to remember the face of Aron.

Aron, on the other hand, unaware that people were talking about him, entered the town and started walking around.
He saw many things in just ten minutes—the houses made up of stone or wood, the people on the streets trying to find food or beg for a piece of bread.
It is not like how he imagined it to be; it is more dark and sad than he thought it was.
"There are many sick people too."
Aron commented that, seeing a mother with her two kids on their faces,
