Aron kept on listening as the old man spoke with the young man. As his ears were on them, he kept on eating as well.
He blurted after drinking a whole cup of beer in one go and smiled.
"It feels good to eat without thinking about getting killed all the time."
He thought to himself and then ordered another beer. He spent about six Aiwa coins until now and has more than 24 Aiwa coins.
Due to his abilities, he believed finding and earning coins should not be a problem for him. So he can afford to drink more without any problem.
After that, he ordered another beer and waited.
A young man wearing blue clothes entered the inn; he had long black hair and a feminine-looking face.
His eyes scanned the room, and others, including the caravan groups and the group that the old man was in, looked at him for a second before minding their own business.
"Hmm, why did they look at him with interest?"
Aron asked himself before using the scan ability on the young man.
"Lylon Elif"
"Elemental Mage and Water"
"Level 4"
Aron then understood why people looked at the young man with great interest.
He also understood why the robes on the man were blue. It must be showing his mastery over water.
"I think it is easy to understand that ordinary people would look at mages with interest. Considering they are path-takers and capable of controlling elements, they should gather attention."
One moment later, the young man looked at the table just on the right side of Aron and then walked towards the table and took a seat.
In no time, the young maid came to the table and started talking. Compared to her talk to Aron, the young maid took the order of the young man with great respect.
Aron believed that the woman did not show respect because she respected the mage but was scared of him.
She was scared that if she did not show respect to the young man, he might do something to her.
Aron shook his head, and at that time, a young man noticed his mask on the table.
"That is a nice-looking mask you have there."
The young man commented as he smiled. Aron looked at the young man for a second.
"Thank you; it was a great deal for me."
The young man nodded and then introduced himself.
"I am Lylon, Lylon Elif; what is your name?"
Aron answered. He believed it would do no good to himself not to talk with this man.
"I am Aron."
Lylon stopped for a second and nodded.
"It seems like he does not want to talk to me," he thought.
The young maid was then brought up to the beer order of the young man and then the order of Aron.
Lylon took a sip of his beer, and his eyes turned thoughtful as he spoke.
"You know, Aron, it is hard sometimes to live like this."
Aron looked at Lylon with a side-eye and thought to himself.
"What is the matter with this guy?" he thought, then spoke.
"What comes hard to you?"
Lylon smiled helplessly and then added.
"I am neither an evil person nor arrogant, but because I am a Mage-Class Pathtaker and officially in an organization, people are scared of me and never show their true faces."
Aron stopped for a second and then took a sip from his beer before answering.
"I mean, if you want them to show their true face to you, you may try not to wear your mage clothes."
Lylon nodded, agreeing with Aron's seeming, and then commented.
"I thought about what you were saying, but then it is forbidden for members of a path-taking organization to take off their clothes in public."
Aron took a deep breath and then noticed the symbols on the blue robe the young man was wearing. He did not know that there was a rule like this existing in this place.
Of course, Aron noticed that Lylon was joking with him, saying that he could not walk around naked.
"Why do you talk to me with ease?"
Aron asked.
Lylon laughed soundly and then added.
"So you like joking? Hey man, it is clear that you are a pathtaker like me; I can see your origin energy."
"Ordinary people may not feel it or understand it, but another pathtaker, especially a mage whose mastery and power are in line with their mastery of origin energy, can feel it from a hundred meters."
Aron smiled and said nothing.
"It is good that I learned that, and I bought the mask."
He thought to himself and finished his beer.
