Now, Milam's purple outfit was greyish-blue with frost everywhere. Her gauntlets had the same glow as her armor but had blue flames engulfing it. Her eyes looked even more crazed while she also sprouted two white, scaly dragon wings.
"I'll try my best to fend her off while you go off to get help... Because no matter how powerful you claim to be, you can't fight off this thing. She isn't any other type of Pyromancer... And those flames were the ones Circe and Mavislin were after..."
"She is the descendant of the dragon that resides in Nilfheim... Its job is to relentlessly devour those who are murderers, adulterers, and promise-breakers. Known as the Curse-striker or He Who Strikes with Malice... Nidhogg is not something you can slay..."
"I'm fully aware of that... But like I said, it's not a problem for me. But, for us to come out alive and victorious, I would need you back to that form again," replied Raiyen, cutting off Tomoe's sentence.
The Kitsune groaned as he heard those few words... Must it end up like that? He truly hated being Raiyen's Familiar. Because if he assumed that form again, Tomoe wouldn't be able to move around for the rest of the fight. If he gets broken in that form, the fox is dead meat.
"However, I know you've consumed several souls to fuel your power. And I thank you for not using my power since the start of the battle, but you must be exhausted. Thus, I'll give you one last spell to pull off against Milam... Strongest in your arsenal." commanded Raiyen.
"Strongest, huh? Well, let's see... I hoped to use that for some time, but the area might get shaky. However, you do know what happens if I use the Final Sun. But I can't believe I'm saying this..." sighed Tomoe as he turned towards Raiyen and stuck out his fist.
"I trust and am counting on you to win the fight with the rest of the group. Better make this a brilliant display, fit for an Empress to see..." finished the Kitsune as Raiyen returned the fist bump.
"You can count on me."
"Here goes nothing. Milam... My apologies that I'm unable to continue the fight with you. However, I do have one last parting gift. And I will promise this to everyone here... I will take down your wings! Foxflame; Scatter and Bind!" commanded Tomoe as he shot out his palm.
Twin blue flames leaped out of Tomoe's open palm, divided into six, swarming Milam while shooting out fire streams to bind each flame together, forming a cage around the enemy. Tomoe then took a deep breath and let his Elemental Aura flare up.
The Kitsune's tail became more prominent as blue flames engulfed his entire figure. Tomoe took a deep breath and moved his legs and arms to prepare for the Final Sun. Milam was squirming about, trying to destroy the cage from within with her gauntlets.
"Try as you might... But you'll never defeat a flame that was created from another realm... A realm that you'll never dream of touching. Higher than upper skies..." smirked Tomoe as he began to chant.
"God Of Flames, grant me the desire to defeat my opponent. God of the Sun, grant me the power to slay all enemies. These tails of mine are proof of my experience as a Kitsune... For I am Tomoe, the Blue-flamed Fox that ran the world with fear and flames..."
Raiyen watched as Tomoe's entire figure lit up with his Elemental Aura, creating a small mirage of a Kitsune, depicted like the drawings made in the future. Large and grand... Portrayal of how they were divine creatures of old... That's right...
Because no matter what, Tomoe isn't just another weapon or Familiar... He was his person. He has his likes and dislikes. Friends and foe. Not another puppet to play with. However, Raiyen was still his Master who could control what powers to give his Familiar when needed.
"Final Sun: Nine Tail Fireworks!"
Eight balls of blue flames appeared behind Tomoe's back, surrounding his now-burning tail. After shouting the last sentence, the eight flames became copies of the Fox Spirit's tail. The Kistune then leaped up and aimed his blue flamed blade at Milam's wings.
Milam smiled as she drew air in and tilted her head upwards with her cheeks full of air.
"Oh no, you don't!" shouted Raiyen as he quickly snapped his fingers, transferring his glitch to Tomoe.
And it was at the nick of time as Tomoe glitched away to appear behind Milam and deliver a solid diagonal slash on her wings. The eight blue fireballs attached themselves to the wings and went off, creating explosions that destroyed both Milam's wings and the cage.
