CHAPTER 1
In ancient times, of ancient China, the Emperor and Empress was dressed in beautiful hanfu. Where their bodies was covered in fine jewelry. The palace was made of gold and even the statues were gold. During that time the empire lacked no richness. For it was a very prosperous and wealthy time period.
From the west was an evil sorcerer named Edison Hua, who had an evil purpose. He wanted the empire's wealth and power. So, he rage an all-time war upon the empire. He was determined to have the empire for himself.
The evil sorcerer have necromancer who were all of the dead and the half living. He turned the living into the dead. Turn the dead into living. His army was unstoppable. His chance of winning the war was over seventy percent.
Emperor Jack Xiao stood little chance as his army had only twenty thousand men. His army was weak and full of old and young men who have never held a weapon before. In desperation him and his best friend General Daniel Yi went to seek guidance from an old monk.
"If we go into this war, what are our chances of winning?" asked Emperor Jack.
"Yes. Please let us know," said General Daniel.
The old monk said, "Here is an orb that can show you guys the future."
"The future?" asked Emperor Jack.
"But I thought such things cannot be done," said General Daniel. "It's forbidden."
"It is, but for such an evil man, I have to take desperate measure. I am afraid that if we lose this war, the lives of many people will be doomed," said the old monk. "Amituofo."
"So, you're saying you're letting us take a sneak peek?"
The old monk nodded. "Yes. But I'm also paying a price as well."
"What?" asked both of them.
"For showing you the future. I am losing half of my life spam."
They both looked at each other as the old monk is already so old, so losing half his life, how many years was supposed to live.
"Aren't you over a hundred years old," asked Emperor Jack.
"I'm over one hundred and eighty years old," answered the old monk.
"Oh."
"Once you leave the temple here, remember to heed my warning."
"Yes. We will obey," said General Daniel.
"By looking into it you cannot alter anything. If you do, you must take full responsibility!"
Jack and Daniel looked at each other.
"What do you mean altering?"
"Meaning you cannot change the future, or the present will take a great toll on everyone. For that we will all pay the price dearly," said the old monk.
Jack and Daniel nodded.
"Do you both agree?"
"Yes. We will both bear the consequences," said both of them.
"Alright." The old monk stroke his long white bear. "Very well, may you bring peace onto this land." He bowed in respect.
Emperor Jack and General Daniel took the orb out of the temple and went back to the palace.
When they looked into the orb, they both saw the future. They saw them winning the war, but at a great cost. Emperor Jack took a hit of poison and had turned into a demon. He was seen drinking blood. Killing and murdering people. Eating the young and ruining the body of virgins. Running the empire into ruin. Then, General Daniel captured him, and chopped off his head. Thus, the Xiao emperor was no more.
"What!" exclaimed General Daniel.
"So, this is how it must be done," said Emperor Jack, stumbling on his feet.
"No! I won't allow it."
"You can and you must!"
"Jack!"
"When I turned into that demon you must at all costs kill me before I harm my people."
"No! There must be another way."
"This is the only way. Remember we cannot change the future, or we will both suffer the consequences."
Daniel clench his fist tightly.
"Promise me?"
Daniel nodded.
Emperor Jack Xiao, and his best friend General Daniel Yi both took on the evil sorcerer. The war raged on for three long years. When they finally took down the evil sorcerer, Daniel got poisoned by the evil sorcerer, instead of Emperor Jack. In protecting his best friend and the empire, he risked his life for the nation of Xiao.
However, the poison proved to be more toxic than they thought. For Daniel was never the same again. He was no longer the brave, loyal, and courageous man he used to be. His poison consumed his madness that he himself became the demon. He started craving for women's bodies. Taking as many women as he could at one time. Ravaging through them like the flowing water. Then afterward he started drinking the blood of others. Killing people and taking their lives as he leisurely pleased. At wit's end the Emperor had to put an end to his best friend's insanity.
Before the Emperor could do so, Daniel's wife, Susie Zhang, took her husband and their four year old daughter far away into the forbidden mountains where no one could find them. Susie was the apprentice of the previous Emperor who was well knowledge in medicine and the highest alchemist of her time. She was determined to find a treatment for her husband's illness. She was going to do whatever she could to get her husband back to normal. Five years have passed and she couldn't find a cure. So, she did the unspeakable. She kidnapped the emperor's two sons.
Alan Xiao is the third prince. He is fifteen years old. He was a promising man as he was highly skilled in magic and sword fights. He was very talented in military skills. He was also very good at running business as well.
Oliver Xiao is the sixth prince. He is seven years old. He was the second youngest prince. He and Alan are really close. Oliver adore and loves Alan. He wants to one day grow up and be like Alan. Strong and skilled at sword fighting.
