"STOP!" shouted Emperor Jack.
Alan woke up hearing his father's voice.
"You can't kill him. You can't kill my husband!" shouted Susie.
"Susie, what have you done?"
"He did it all to protect you and the kingdom."
"I know."
"You at least owe him."
"I did. My son died. While the other one is near death."
"Please, I can still save him."
"You cannot. He's dead the moment the poisoned hit him."
"What! It cannot be."
"Look at him!" shouted Emperor Jack. He was pointing to the jar where Daniel's lifeless body sit.
"No. No. No, he cannot."
"He's dying. You need to let him go."
Susie wept loudly.
"Hold her," said Emperor Jack, looking at his soldiers.
"Yes," said the soldiers."
"NO! NO! NOOO! You can't kill him!"
Emperor Jack walked over to Daniel's body. "Hey old friend. I have come to put you at rest." He raised his sword and pierce it straight into Daniel's heart. Within a few minutes Daniel stop breathing and died.
Susie started to laugh.
"What is it?"
"Since you two broke heaven's will, we all had to suffer. We all had to bare the consequences," chuckled Susie insanely.
"What?"
"She will be the only one who can save him. For she was brew in medicine since she was one years old."
"Who?"
"You will know when you see her."
"What? What are you mumbling about?"
"You will know when you look into the orb."
"The orb? How do you have it?" The Emperor pointed his sword at her.
"I took it with me when I ran from the city. I looked into it. Just like you two did."
"It's forbidden."
"Yes. For that, I will die as well." She edged her throat towards the emperor's sword and slit her throat wide open.
Then a young girl came out of nowhere and started crying. She was about twelve years old. She was weeping over the dead woman's body.
Emperor Jack's eyes widened at her desperate act.
The girl had a white blindfold over her eyes and a white veil covering her face.
The Emperor covered his face with his palm. "Oh, the heavens are punishing me."
"Emperor, we found the orb," said one of the soldiers.
The Emperor took the orb from the soldier's hand. He was about to look into it when a familiar voice spoke out loud.
"Do not look into it!" said the old monk. He stomped his staff on the ground.
"Master monk," said the Emperor. He bowed to him.
Everyone got down on their knees and bowed to him.
"You two have caused enough trouble the way it is. Give it back to me."
The Emperor frowned. "Tsk," he whispered. He handed it back to him.
The old monk gave it to his student. He wrapped it up in a black cloth and put it in a box.
The soldiers were all untying Prince Alan. Then they all started screaming in pain. Their bodies started rotting away and they melted in front of everyone's eyes. Everyone gasped in horror.
Another soldier came over to him and tried to help him, but he also did the same thing. He melted leaving nothing but a pile of bones.
"He is the living dead now," said the old monk.
"What?" asked Prince Alan.
"What! You're saying my son is a monster now?" exclaimed Emperor Jack.
"This is the price we have to pay for messing with future," answered the old monk. "Amituofo."
"What?" asked Prince Alan. "Why do I have to be the one who's like this?"
"It's heaven's will. The sooner you accept it, the better it will be for you to move on with life."
"Get Prince Alan some proper clothes, but do not touch him," said Emperor Jack.
Prince Alan's eyes widened. He clenches his fist tightly. He looked at his arms and body. He was full of poison. He was now a dead man, walking in a human form. He then saw the girl weeping over the evil woman's dead body. He grabbed her by the neck and said, "Your mother did this to me."
The girl was gasping and choking from his grasp.
The old monk frowned as the girl wasn't harm by his poisoned. He then walked over to the prince and put his staff on his hand. "Let go of her."
"Why?"
"Because I said so."
"Do it," said Emperor Jack.
Prince Alan obeyed and let her go.
The old monk frowned. He walked to the door and said, "Follow me, emperor. For you and I have much to talk about."
"Yes."
After a few hours the emperor walked out of the house with the old monk.
The old monk turned to look at the emperor. "Remember my words. This time, do not stray from it. For I cannot and will not intervene this time if you don't listen."
"Yes. Yes. I will listened," said the Emperor.
"Amituofo" said the old monk, bowing to him. He turned and walked away with his student back to his temple.
"Prince Alan," said the Emperor.
"Yes, father," said Prince Alan.
"Come, I have to talk to you about something my son."
Prince Alan frowned and went into he house with the Emperor.
In the house was the girl with the white blindfold.
"Humph," Prince Alan stomped away from her.
The girl flinched.
"What is she doing here?" he thought.
"Prince Alan, I have some important matters to talk to you about."
"What is it father?" asked Prince Alan.
"Because of your poison you cannot go anywhere near anyone. So, for that I will keep you in an isolated mansion near the mountain. There you will have clean and fresh air to aid in your recovery."
"What? You're abandoning me?"
"No. I am not. I am trying to help you."
"By sending me to a remote location."
"Yes. In that place you will have time to heal and properly cure yourself."
"How?"
"This girl will help you do so." The Emperor pointed to the girl.
Prince Alan turned to look at her. He snared evilly at her. "I don't want her."
"You must. For she will be your wife."
"WHAT!"
"Go, you may leave now," said the emperor, looking at the girl.
The girl curtsy and left.
"Her name is Emily. Emily Yi."
"I don't care."
"She's blind and a mute."
"Okay, so you realized that."
"I don't want that kind of woman as my wife."
"But you must!"
"Why? Why must I marry the one whose parents was the one who made me like this?"
"You need to listen to me and marry her."
"You want me to marry the one whom I hate the most."
"Yes."
"I won't do it. I rather live my life in solitary!"
"YOU MUST!" boom the Emperor.
"Why must I marry the one whose parent's caused me all this misery?" asked Prince Alan. He pulled up his sleeve. "Look at me!" His arms were black and blue.
"Because she's your cure," said the Emperor, calmly. He sat back down into his seat with a sigh.
Prince Alan's eyes widened. "You mean that blind girl who can't speak and is a mute is going to be my firsr wife?"
"Yes."
Prince Alan laughed. "Why?"
"Trust me, she's the only one who can help you become normal again. Once she cures you, you get rid of her and find yourself another wife."
Prince Alan stumbles backward. In order to become normal again he have to marry his enemy. He will have to use her until she can cleanse his body. When she's done, he will be free to choose a woman of his liking. He will finally be free of this pain. He clenched his fist tightly. "Fine. I will do it."
