After they all gone, I ate while wondering about my worries and concerns in various things in the future. Will I be here until the end of time? Will I fall in love with Sean? Will he fall in love with Katelyn or Emily? Will Sean be faithful to me? Will he ever change? Will he abandon me? Will he betray me like my ex-boyfriend?
What if he know she is not Katelyn, his previous wife but she is Emily now, a new person that he never knew before in his life ? Who will the one he love, Katelyn or Emily ? What if he can't accept Emily as his wife ? Will he divorce Emily as his wife ?
What should she do if that happen ?
The pain that my ex boyfriend caused in my heart is still there. It hasn't healed yet. It just covered and placed at the bottom corner of my heart. I my self never dealt with it.
What if it happen again in the future ?
I really don't want to go through all of it again. So, what should I do? Why am I being trapped in this situation ? What am going to do then ? " Arrgh.. "My head feel like it's spinning as I think all of this. Sean reappeared in the room as I ruffled my hair. He immediately approached me and took both of my hands, which were ruffling my hair, lowering them and whispering in my ear, "Hey, what's wrong? Everything is alright. Do not be afraid. I'm here with you."He hugged me tightly, lavishing me with his love.
" Don't leave me, Please I beg you" I said unconsciously in my crying. I wrapped my arms around him tightly, as if I was afraid of losing him. It seem all my feeling that I have been pressured all this time has been surfaced and took over me now. It is now time to deal with all the past trauma I had.
He tightened his grip. "SSssstt... I'm not leaving you. I love you for the rest of my life."
He released his hug and kissed my lips and cheeks. "I am always by your side. Believe me. Katelyn, I can't live without you. Darling, we'll be together forever. " He wrapped his arms around me and patted my back.
His words soothed me, and hearing them warmed my heart which caused me responded. "I don't need words. "
"Of course you will experience it Katelyn. Please let me prove my words," he replied softly but emphatically. He kissed the top of my head several times. Because of it, my heart feel at ease. I returned his hug tightly as I didn't want to let go of him. He then grab my chin and kiss me on the lips softly when Alden walked in without knocking, we parted our lips right away.
"Sean, uupss..Sorry," he said. Alden apologized and turning his face the door when he realized he had interrupted something.
"Come in," Sean said.
"Next time, knock on the door," Sean advised.
"I usually knock on the door first," Alden shrugged, "But this moment I was in a hurry and forgot to knock." He put on a sweet smile.
"What's wrong?" Sean inquired.
" Lewis phoned. He stated that the contract was with Mc. Morgan has been granted permission. " Alden said.
" Really ? How about the requirements ? Have you checked the details ? Sean asked.
" All we have to do now is stick to our plan. " Alden added.
"Yes, proceed in accordance with our previous plan," Sean added.
"I leave it all to you Alden." He tapped Alden on the shoulder.
" Don't be worried. Leave it to Lewis and me. We'll make a huge profit. Thank you for trusting us Sean " Alden stated.
Sean responded by smiling " I don't know what would I be without both of you ."
Alden checked his watch as he said " I have to leave now. Elena was in her room, waiting for me. I'll drive her home today. '
"See you later Katelyn," Alden said as he waved goodbye.
I waved him in return and smiling to him.
After Alden left, Sean, who noticed my unfinished meal, took over the tableware and fed me until I finished everything that had been prepared for me, then gave me a glass of water and the medicine I needed. That night, I was completely full. He told me to lay down while he went over the documents and emails Lewis had given him.
I just realized, he is not leaving the hospital at all since I was admitted to the hospital. He has been staying by my side ever since then. Alden and Lewis regularly come to see him and talk about all the things related to his business. One at a time is about contracts, other times discussing about email they received or decision they make, but most of the time is giving him a bunch of documents.
Tonight, I feel as if a burden has been lifted from my heart. I am not sure what's changes, but I feel more at peace deep in my heart. I recall Sean's actions and words toward me. Can I trust him on what he said? Was he making a promise to me? Will he keep his promise, or did he just say it to please or calm me down?
Battling with my inner feelings, I decided to trust my instincts and conscience to guide me in the future. I am Katelyn now, not Emily, so I will have a different love story in this life. Tonight, I was reminded to give my hope to the Lord, so I prayed quietly and completely surrendered myself to Him.
I enjoyed seeing his serious face reading and signing the documents one by one while he was doing that. He has become even more attractive with his expression now.. When he finished signing the last document, he went to his laptop. His fingers moved quickly across the keyboard. My eyes keep following him as he does his activities.. I'm not sure how long he did it all before I fell asleep staring at him.
