Sean took me for a walk in the hospital garden because he wanted to go to the hospital canteen and get us breakfast. Along the way, we held hands and told stories about things that had happened between us in the past. Hearing what he says makes me laugh.
After purchasing breakfast, we sat in the garden and ate it while chatting. It didn't seem like time was passing or the sun was rising.
"Oh, you guys here," Elena greeted us with surprise. "I looked all over for you. Let us return to the room. I'll go over a few things with you before you leave the hospital." Elena was seen with Alden standing behind her. "Lewis handles the administration. Do you wish to return home now or we'll leave together ?" he inquired.
Sean looked at me, his eyes asking for my opinion. "Just be with you guys," I replied. Sean nodded and turned to face Alden, then nodded again. We all went back to my room. When we arrived at the room, Lewis was already there. A middle-aged woman was with Lewis. She bowed respectfully to each of us.
" She's Auntie Jen," Sean explained and I responded by nodding.
"I've taken care of everything, sir," Aunt Jen stated.
"Thank you Auntie," Sean replied. We left the hospital together after Elena talked to Sean.
Sean, Aunt Jen, and I were in the same car as Lewis and Alden were in the car behind us. I saw roads and views I'd never seen before along the way.
"Where do we live?" I inquired of Sean. What is the name of this place ? Is this a town or a city? Wow, the view is spectacular." I looked left and right enthusiastically.
Sean didn't respond, just smiled and said, "I bought our house because you've always wanted to live in that area, which is known for its beautiful views. The first time you heard about our homes, you jumped into my arms because you were overjoyed that your dream had come true."
"Are you serious?" I blushed upon discovering the truth of my folly. He stroked my hand gently. His expression brightened as he saw how happy I was. Finally, the car we were in came to a halt in front of a high gate, which automatically opened. A white modern-style house with a large garden can be seen. It is, without a doubt, the most luxurious and expensive home I have ever seen. The car drove through the large garden and came to a stop on the house's terrace, precisely in front of a towering door that was wide open. I just stood there quietly admiring everything.
Sean took my hand in his and led me out of the car. When we walked through the front door, we were greeted by a middle-aged man who was still handsome." Welcome Sir and Madam." he greeted us.
Sean only responded by nodded his head and told me "He's Uncle Sam." He is the butcher in this house. And Aunt Jen is his wife. Just tell them if anything you need or if there is something wrong."
I simply nodded and smiled at Uncle Sam. Sean kept my hand tightly in his and walked into the house. Several women dressed in black and white stood in a row on the right. Sean came to a halt. "Uncle Sam, please introduce them to my wife," Sean said.
Uncle Sam nodded and replied, "Of course, Sir," before listing their names and responsibilities in this house one by one. When their names were called, they took a small step forward from the line and nodded to Sean and me. I just nodded my head after they were introduced. Honestly, I can't remember anything what Uncle Sam has said. I believe I will get to know them better after having interaction later.
Following all of the introductions, Sean suddenly grabbed my waist and asked, "Are you hungry? We should get some rest. You must be exhausted."
I nodded in agreement. He told everyone to return to their respective jobs and said, "Uncle Sam, Aunt Jen. We will resting in our room. Please just bring the lunch to us.
"Yes sir, " they respond." Would Madam want something to eat particularly? We will prepare it right away. " Aunt Jen inquired.
I thought for a moment "I will eat whatever you provide Aunt Jen, but I want to eat ice cream as my dessert."
" OK Madam. Anything else ? " Aunt Jen said. I shake my head and look at Sean, asking if he wants anything to eat. He simply shakes his head.
Aunt Jen nodded, "It will be delivered in 30 minutes."
Sean led me up the stairs and into a room in the center of the top floor. He opened the door to the room, and I realized it was the same room I had been in before fainting and the first time Sean carried me. He took my hand carefully and entered the room slowly.
"This is our room Darling. After we rest and eat, I will show you the reading room I mentioned earlier." I nodded in agreement.
Sean carried me to bed unexpectedly, causing me to scream in surprise, and I immediately grabbed his neck. Sean chuckled at my antics. He laid me down slowly and wrapped a blanket around my body. He then sat down beside me. wrapped his hands around my stomach, kissed my entire face, and said, "I love you Katelyn"
When I heard that, my heart started pounding. "Really," I said as I hugged him back.
" Don't you believe me ? Soon I will prove it to you and make you fall in love with me." Sean enthusiastic said.
"I'm sorry," I said, looking down. "It's okay, honey," Sean says as he lifts my chin. Why are you apologizing? It's not your fault, my dear. Don't even think about it. "Go to bed." He stroked my chin. "Thank you very much, Sean. You truly accept and understand me." I kissed his brow briefly before closing my eyes.
