We went back to our bedroom that night and showered after the house tour. I was the first one to use the restroom as Sean got a call from Lewis. I hadn't had a chance to check out the bathroom before, so I did so as soon as I walked in. Back then, the incident of tripping happened prior to my actions.
I want to use the soothing scents of some bath bombs I found to help me unwind. I added a bath bomb and soon filled the tub with warm water. I entered the tub and submerged my whole body for a few seconds before raising my head to rest on the edge of the tub. I got out of the tub and put on my bath towel after feeling rejuvenated and at ease. Sean had already hung up his phone and was waiting for me to finish my bath when I came out of the bathroom.
I dried my hair and put on some clothes while he was in the restroom. We eat dinner in the dining room that evening and spend some time getting to know one another by chit-chatting about our own interests. We carried on our talk in the bedroom. We decided to call it a night and headed to bed because the time had flown by so quickly as it grew late.
It's my first time sleeping with a man. Shyly, I climbed into bed and sat on the bed's outer edge. I turned away from Sean who was lying next to me.
As he saw me doing it, he said "Darling, I can't sleep without hugging you. Come closer, don't be too far away from me. I'm afraid you'll fall down." He drew me close to him.
" I'm not going to do anything. I understand you're not ready yet," he added.
"Just a hug," as he said he grabbed my stomach and hugged it tightly.
"Good night, darling." He closed his eyes after briefly kissing my lips.
I simply looked at him and softly said, "Good night, my husband." Then I kissed him on the lips briefly as my cheeks feel burning. Immediately I closed my eyes to conceal my shyness. However, I have no regrets about it and don't care what Sean thinks of it.
Katelyn just gave Sean a quick kiss on the lips, which astonished him. She parted their lips and closed her eyes just as he was ready to return her kiss. When Sean noticed her wife felt awkward performing it, he grinned. He then gave his wife a passionate lip-kiss that lasted until they were both out of breath. Katelyn turned around swiftly, but Sean caught his wife by the waist, pulled her close to him, and whispered, "I love you, darling."
When Katelyn heard her husband proclaim his love, she grinned. She clutched his husband's waist as well, turning back to face him. They both fell asleep and stayed up all night hugging each other since they were comfortable in their positions.
They had been together for a week already, and that had strengthened their bond. Without realizing it, they were slowly but surely becoming physically and spiritually attached to one another. The staff members were amiable and supportive, sharing their knowledge and not holding back when discussing past events pertaining to Katelyn, Sean, and the family. Katelyn felt like she was gaining her memory back and began to accept herself as Katelyn not Emily.
Sean's phone rang that morning as he was having a bath. The phone had already rung three times before Katelyn saw it and reported it to Sean. She was concerned that Sean must have needed to know about it.
Sean checked his phone urgently as he came out of the bathroom then picked up the call right away. Sean told me as the phone ended that his parents would be here today. Their parent assistant would pick them up at the airport, and promised to pay us a visit. When I heard this, I was both surprised and excited about what would happen next. How would they respond to me? Sean noticed the change in my expression and understood how I felt.
"It's time they knew what happened. Don't be afraid, I'm here. I'll accompany you to meet them. Everything will be fine." he said as he took my hand in his
He also gave Aunt Jen and Uncle Sam some instructions about his parents arrival after speaking with me.
Urgently Aunt Jen and Uncle Sam expertly prepared everything perfectly. As the afternoon arrived, we prepared to greet them. Not long after, the sound of a car approaching the gate was heard. My heart is racing even faster as I anticipate what will happen in the next second. But then Sean took my hand and led me into the room.
"Please wait for me here, Darling.. I think it would be better to tell them what happened to you first before you meet them. " he gaze my eyes gently.
I believe it is the best to do so I nod my head. Sean stroked my hair and walked away. It's only been sixty minutes, but it feels like I've been waiting all day. To alleviate my nervousness, I try to divert my attention to pleasant things. Clack...The sound of the door being opened. Sean took a step closer to me.
" Thanks for waiting." He kissed me on the lips and wrapped his arms around my waist. "They are waiting in the dining room."
"Have you told them what happened?" Sean nodded.
"Then...how did they react? " I asked.
Sean replied, "They're sorry you can't remember them but they're glad you're okay. They care about you and will support you throughout this ordeal. They say you'll get to know them gradually. Don't worry."
I feel relieved to hear Sean word so I nodded then followed Sean to the dining room nervously. Sean who understood his wife feeling, hold her hands tightly as if he assured his beloved one.
