CHAPTER 20
It had been a week since the malicious headlines surfaced and everything had been sorted out. Each of the prominent magazine companies was sued and heavily fined and they were made to retract their statement and give a public apology to me and the Berlette household yet Richard has been abnormally quiet. He refused to share with me who was behind the whole fiasco, telling me I didn't need to know. I tried to pry him away from his foul mood but all to no avail. Each day it got progressively worse. He just wouldn't budge.
