SCARLET'S POV.
Hours later, I lay on my bed, pondering how to sneak into Xavier's quarters without getting caught by him.His quarters Isn't heavily guarded like Alpha Eliot's own but he shares it with his men.
The fact that Xavier sent me to fetch a book spoke volumes. Despite our ordeal last night, he didn't think much of me, not even a bit.
Last night, I made him feel like a man after who knows how long.
As my eyes pierced through the window,The sun had set, casting a better ambiance around. I headed to the kitchen and quickly whipped up some noodles. It struck me why Xavier didn't have maids like Alpha Eliot.
I usually dealt with Jade, who served food at her whim, resulting in half-cooked noodles that never tasted quite right.
A few minutes later, settled in a chair, I began to dig into my less-than-ideal noodles. Who cared if they were delicious or not?
As I ate, thoughts drifted back to my pack—my brother, my friends, and even the maids who made sure I received the best meals, sometimes even before serving their Alpha.
"It's been nearly a month since I arrived at the Fedele packhouse, and it's been a living hell. For a moment, I forgot my primary purpose for being here, but I'll have to blame the moon goddess for that—why on earth did she mate me with all three of them?
Being used as a pawn in their different games has made me wary of Addison's kindness. He's different from the rest; Alpha Eliot simply wants to use me whenever it suits him, while Xavier is using me for his revenge against his brothers.
The alarm clock's ticking jolted me, and I slowly raised my head to check the time—it was 6:00 PM. Anticipation for what I was about to do clouded my thoughts as I placed my plate back in the sink to wash.
Dragging my feet sluggishly to my room, I quickly changed into black pajamas and a blouse.
"You look like a ready intruder," Tafe commented through our mind link. I sighed disappointingly before sinking back onto the bed.
"Why do you always discourage me?" I grumbled.
"It's not discouragement," she persisted. Tafe always had something to say about every move or choice I made.
"Argh! Just stay in your place!" I grumbled.
"My place?" She scoffed. "I'm trying to give you a better idea. What if you get caught? How will you explain yourself?"
"What do you mean?" I asked, curious about her opinion for once in my life.
"What if you get caught? You need to wear something alluring, so if he catches you, you can pretend you came to satisfy him," she finally suggested. A satisfied smirk formed on my lips.
Yes, it was a good idea. A very good one indeed.
I quickly changed into a crop top and a transparent cotton skirt that revealed my thong, while the top exposed a part of my enticing skin.
I stepped out of the room, prepared to sneak into Addison's quarters, but the weather suddenly shifted, hinting at an imminent rainfall. Nonetheless, I forged ahead, mindful of Xavier's demand to return the book today. That cold guy wasn't one for jokes; I hadn't seen him crack a smile ever.
To avoid arousing suspicion, I opted for the backdoor route, dodging any encounters along the way to Addison's quarters.
Taking precautions, I navigated the dark hallway, making sure to evade any figures in sight as I slipped into his sitting room.
Once inside, I heaved a sigh of relief. I ensured my footsteps were silent, just in case anyone was around. But I doubted Addison or any of his men would be in at this hour. They were often on patrol, and he didn't even have maids like Xavier.
Standing in the dimly lit inner quarters, memories of the day he cooked and sang me to sleep flooded back, filling me with guilt as I deliberated my next move.
If only I had choices to consider.
"Damn it, Scarlet, hurry up! I can sense his scent," Tafe scolded through our mind link.
"Whose scent?" I began to ask, but the sound of the door opening interrupted me. Footsteps followed—I counted four, certain it was two people. Then, one of them locked the doors from inside. Tilting my head, a puzzled expression formed as I wondered what was happening.
The sitting room lit up suddenly, and Addison's voice echoed through.
"I've missed you so much."
Panicking, I hurried to pull the curtain for cover as they approached the room. Realizing it wouldn't conceal me well, I dashed towards the empty cupboard, thanking my stars.
Hiding inside, I made sure not to be seen when they entered. Addison arrived but didn't bother switching on the lights.
"How are you doing?" He moved towards the figure before him, holding their chin and hands tenderly, affection evident in his eyes.
"I'm good. I thought we would never meet again," the figure replied, moving into Addison's embrace. He hugged them tightly, leaving me puzzled about their reunion.
"I love you," Addison whispered as their lips met in a passionate kiss. They embraced, his hands affectionately on the figure's backside.
The kiss seemed to last forever, leaving me wondering if I'd ever get out of my hiding spot.
Finally breaking apart, Addison quickly undressed, sending shivers down my spine. Gazing at his naked form, desire surged through me; I longed for him more than anyone. The sight of his aroused member made me yearn for it inside me by any means. I found myself massaging my tightened nipple while witnessing him receiving oral pleasure, wishing it were me.
"Let me pleasure you," he chuckled, guiding the figure up and slowly unzipping their clothes, leaving me astonished.
The figure was a boy! Was Addison gay?
Observing him drop to his knees and perform oral sex on the boy, I heard faint pleasure-filled moans.
But who was the boy? Was Ryder involved with his uncle?
