Slowly opening my eyes, the pounding pain in my head echoed through my skull and body. As I strained to open them, the ache intensified, prompting a silent whimper.

When my eyes finally opened, I found myself in an unfamiliar place. The ceilings were a dark, tattered shade of blue. Glancing around, I noticed the debris scattered about, reminiscent of an abandoned hut left for decades. Above me, leaves and bells hung, giving the place an eerie atmosphere. Was this a shaman's house or a shrine? And why was I brought here?

The idea of being a sacrifice sent a shiver down my spine, my breath becoming shallow and rapid. Attempting to turn, I realized my hands were bound behind my back. The revelation of being tied up forced my eyes wide open as the truth sank in—I had been kidnapped.
