As she took the lead, her speed tripled, and she dove deep into the cobbled alleys, descending the mountains to an unknown destination, goddess knows where.
She was becoming uncontrollable, and I felt powerless to assist. I understood her frustration, granting her the freedom to seize control wasn't an easy one.
Her momentum carried us forward, my claws gleaming under the moonlight, fur just as luminous. Yet, as she raced ahead and refused to stop not for even a second, my gaze caught a signpost, eliciting a frustrated and disappointed sigh.
We were entering human territory! Should I dare to venture further, death would be inevitable. I recalled the wolves who sought a peace treaty from the humans about two years ago they never returned, and no one dared to seek retribution for them.
