Chapter 37 - Chapter 37

(Luna vs Aurora's Hoard)

Luna unleashed her Aura at full power yet again, her Images, Sphere and Familiars Dispelled by the previous explosion to the point that she could no longer Summon them for a while and similarly she could no longer Awaken her Unique Arma for the rest of the day.

As spikes of stone made to rose from the ground underneath Luna, she stomped lightly, releasing a wave of Aura that disrupped the Mana within it, stopping the attack before it could even really be launched.

Her Aura further expanded, creating a vacuum to extinguish the fireballs sent by the other Casting Dragonoid, before concentrating it in a dense layer around her body, forming a thin suit of armor around her, with an undersuit made out of her Black Blood, and two long vaguely blade-shaped rods, both of them formed out of concentrated iridescent Energy and held within her Manifested Unique Arma.

Energy that she found quite conforting as this was not the first time she used as when she activated the C-Rank ability of her former self's "Spirit Body", her body would be completely Converted in a fully material Spirit made entirety of this Energy.

She casually started to walk forward, her blades digging twin trenches in the ground from when she was dragging them while her feet left behind visible footsteps burnt in the ground.

As she walked forward, one of the two Dragonoids, the only male of the four remaining ones, ran in, a pair of hand-held axes made out of ice enveloped in two different Attributes, his left clad in Water-Attribute while his right clad in Dark-Attribute thanks to the Skill "Elemental Manifestation" borrowing the Element of his Master.

Luna swung mercilessly with her left blade, it and the other's axe meeting, releasing a wave of force released in the area around the two, long cracks forming from both the Lunarian's feet and from around the point of contact of the weapons.

While the coat of Water-Attribute helped to deflect most of the damage caused by the contact with the other's weapon however…

Luna's Aura was influenced by both her own and her Familiars' Skill, being made out of the same destructive Energy released during the previous loss of control, for now Shaped precisely.

As such, the Dragonoid's weapon was inexorably digging into it without any problem, forcing the Dragon-Blessed one to drop it before his wrist was cut too, his second axe rising from low dodged casually by Luna moving to the Dragonoid's left to dodge the Dark-Attribute one before swinging with her right blade, forming a long cut on her target's back however she was forced to jump away before she could stab the other's heart to dodge the punch enveloped by wind of the other melee-focused Dragonoid.

A wall of frozen ground suddently rose from behind her mid-flight trying in vain to stun the material illusion as she rolled in mid-air, landing on it and Shaping her Aura Weapons into a Bow and Arrow she nocked and launched.

A wave of destruction was released in an instant, a miniaturized, weaker yet free version of her Spell [Roaring Destruction] that blasted both of the melee-focused Dragonoids away while damaging them and draining both their Vital Energy and Mana even with a wall of Earth raised hastily by one of the Casting Dragonoids while the other sent forward multiple lightning bolts.

Her Aura Bow quickly returned back into a blade while Luna breathed deeply, her eyes closed before they opened in an instant, her blade flashing in an instant as she bisected the seven incoming Spells before sending back a quick [Reaping Moon], a cutting slash that forced the two ranged Dragonoids to retreat.

The red-eyed one advanced, jumping towards the two Casters to end them only for earth spikes to violently rise from the ground to impale her.

She didn't hesitate, her blade becoming something like a staff she stroke the ground, sending herself higher and destabilizing the Spell itself before rolling in the air, the Staff becoming something similar to a spear she ruthlessly and immediately threw it towards the Earth-Attribute one, accepting the lightning strike the other Dragonoid sent towards her.

Thanks to both her Aura Armor and her "Lunarian Resistance" she didn't recieve much Damage, rolling in mid-air to land on her feet, landing on the former spikes.

Just in time too as she found herself crossing her arms, barely blocking a concentrated burst of wind that still however send her flying back, breaking her flight on a tree trunk, shattering it and the following two before finally stopping on the fourth, her eyes unerringly focused on her meals as she was licking her lips, her hunger stimulating her Aura.

(Amber vs Aurora)

Aura clad strike met Aura clad slash, fire and ice exploding from the contact between the two's Aura, Amber ducking to dodge Aurora's strike as she was not able to offset the other's power, launching a simultaneous kick that created distance between the two of them while sending a wave of fire.

The blue-haired one created a block of ice underneath her to launch herself over the wave of fire, beating her wings once before sending forward a cold mist that froze the ground solid while the blonde ran forward, dodging underneath the mist before sending a pillar of flames towards her enemy that responded by closing her wings around herself, being blasted away without too much damage.

The True Dragon quickly cooled down the air around her, sending ice spikes coated in Aura flying forward while the Demon Phoenix carefully and hastily flew around them, fire trailing behind her before launching towards her enemy, as both an attack and distraction for her own following attack.

However this wasn't enough as Aurora simply tanked the fire before grabbing her target by the throat and slamming and slamming her into the ground, their Aura's battling for dominance shortly, before the Demonic-blooded one hooked her legs around the other's waist before trying to stab her in the brain with her Arma coated by her golden and purple flames.

Hurriedly the Dragon grabbed the other's wrist to stop the attack in its track as while a destroyed brain would without a doubt stun her enough for the other to wound her deeply in the time she would take to heal from the attack.

However this triumph was short lived as, with a smirk on her cute face, Amber changed the hand her Arma was in before, taking advantage of the fact she had a free hand, stabbed her "Blazing Blade of the Piercer" clad in fire and Aura this time directly in the other's heart, the combination of the two enough to disrupt shortly the barrier caused by "Imperial Scale" and weakening her enemy's hold on her throat and wrist.

Immediately the Phoenix tightened her hold on the other's waist, grabbed both of her wrists tightly, leaned fully against the other and released a blast of fire and Aura directly against her previously wounded chest, ripping a scream of pain from her throat, before inverting their position with a movement of her pelvis she praticed this last month with her lover in another situation.

Once on top the Demonic one concentrated her Aura and flames around her blade before thrusting down on the other's skull.

It, however, only melted the ground as the Ice-related one quickly moved her head to dodge what would be an heavily debilitating, if not fatal, strike before kicking her target away from her.

The two stood on their feet at around the same time, Auras flaring around them yet the differences between the two's and their uses was evident.

Aurora's was wild and unrestrained, forcibly using her own and her Hoard's Mana to fuel its usage beyond what she would normally be able to, freezing the ground around her, while Amber's was focused, and burning, exclusively in the area immediately around her, minimizing the effort needed to maintain it, and thanks to the influence of her Skill "Undying Body" on it, her Aura lasted a full second even without being fueled at reduced potency and she took advantage of it by continuously activating and deactivating it at precise one second intervals thanks to the intense training of this last month.

The battle resumed, ice rising in tendrils all around the burning one and trying to impale her as she quickly dodged them, her burning blade stopped by a claw made of ice as the two clashed again and again, the advantage quickly being taken by Aurora as now that she had an Aura of her own, Amber could no longer compensate for the difference in Rank and being forced to use her ace.

Her Unique Arma was quickly clad in a mix of Aura and dense, almost solid, flames, an Art that she made by maintaining her previous special attack exclusively around her blade thanks to both her increased knowledge on the Fire-Attribute itself and her Aura containing the fire.

Her blade started to cut straight throught the claw and the arm underneath it at once, the Dragon immediately releasing an Elemental Roar to send the Phoenix back, ice forming around her wounded arm in its shape before slowly being turned in a new arm for her, a faster and cheaper process to restore her arm invented in the past by True Dragons using "Elemental Manifestation" and their immense natural Quantity of Energy to reach the Phoenixes when it comes to Healing.

Amber stepped forward, breaking the ice crystal formed around her, her flames and Aura raging around her before returning to be controlled, her eyes narrowed in focus.
