Chapter 41 - Chapter 41

10/6 0:57 (Autumn, Day, Nord Lowrar)

*Luna Gains 410 + 1.000 + 500 Magicules.

Luna woke up, her eyes opening slowly while her arms rested upon and around her blonde Mate lying down utop herself, her Mark glowing slightly upon Amber's neck from last night.

She smiled satisfied as she entered briefly in contact with Sabel and Mafel, making sure they were safe before quickly exchanging informations with them, thing rendered quite easy as during this last month she regularly communicated with them to the point that their Marks advanced to D-Rank, rendering their communication even more efficient, capable at this point to send memories.

Thing that in the last month she used extensively to communicate with her two Mates despite the distance while all three of them were sleeping to share informations about their newest Mate and the situation in general.

All the same, Luna quickly concentrated back into herself, following the beating of her heart and the flow of her own blood and Vital Mana within her own body, quickly falling deeply within her own Soul, ignoring her own Soulscape to dive even deeper, in a part of her Soul she never previously needed or bothered to ever access.

This was not the part of her Soul that functioned as a tether connecting with her three Mates but even deeper in, a part of her Soul not entirely her own as she floated forward as an approximation of her own body made out of Black Blood and shining in Vital Mana.

She was not alone as was only natural for this specific place.

In the void she now was in, various amorphous shadows floated peacefully, constantly assuming forms and then collapsing back into darkness, brightly glowing purple lights shining from all over their bodies.

Luna floated forward, ignoring the way the shadows' attention focused on her while her own attention was focused on one thing and one thing alone, the only thing that was in discord within this place was a Dragon-shaped mass.

Luna advanced, noting with interest how the other anomaly's temperature was, even as just a mass of Soul and Magicules, actually colder that the Tyrant was while alive.

The shadows moved towards the Lunarian suddently, enveloping her in an embrace while she continued undeterred, her movements if so they could be called not being slowed down at all, instead being spurned on as the amorphous shadows melded together with her into a single entity.

The "Dragon" concentrated on the incoming threat, the space around her cooling down even further as her disorientation gave way to wariness as a humanoid mass of darkness neared her, feathers, horns and spikes emerging from all over its body together with small luminous crystals shining purple and jutting out of and into her body into long spirals.

The frozen Aura was unleashed in full to stop the advance of the threat, the temperature lowering sharply around her before it billowed out in a cloud of freezing will.

In response the chaotic Aura released by the figure condensed into a single point, quickly and efficiently piercing the wave before it exploded directly into Aurora's Soul, sending her flying back.

Luna flowed forward, the emptiness around her parting easily as she reached the Dragon stunned because of both the blow and the loss itself and landed on her head before patting it a couple of times in a way that Aurora quickly and easily interpreted as condescension.

In response the Dragon Soul roared, a wave of power forcing the soon-to-be complete Lunarian to retreat, her Aura solidifying to deflect most of the impact while her own body distorted into a long shape similar to a feathered horned serpent.

Serpent that flew back and encircled the four-legged one's mouth closed before expanding further, encircling her prey's limbs and wings before long feathered tentacles erupted from its scales, further trapping her before starting to constrict more and more, its Aura suppressing Aurora to the point she couldn't resist.

The thing that was and was not merely Luna opened its maw before biting down on the Dragon's neck, filling her with her own essence.

Such a process was not to hurt but to instead fill the other with her own being, not intending on overwrithing the other yet still intending on suppressing her will with the purpouse of dominating the other.

Luna shrunk, forcing Aurora to do the same or being crushed until finally…

Aurora stood there, being forced in a humanoid form, her arms, legs, wings and tail immobilized by long feathered tentacles while her throat was pierced by a pair of long fangs, an attractive feminine humanoid body pressed flushed against her own while an hand caressed her hairs and the other was around her back, holding the two of them close together.

This lasted only a couple of seconds before Luna finally separated from her prey and pressing her hand against the other's cheek, both mockingly and sincerely.

"For now, I must go. Ah, but don't worry, you are going to be mine one day."

The Lunarian vanished again, leaving behind a gasping Dragon Soul in humanoid form on her knees unable to concentrate on anything but the place where the other just vanished.

*Luna Gains the Innate Skill "Presence: Charm" E.

Luna stretched slightly in the World outside her Soul, satisfied by both her new Skill and the effect she had on the guest within herself, before relaxing and continuing to embrace her Mate.

10/6 4:30 (Autumn, Day, Yggrar, Guild Headquarters)

The Guild Grandmaster, the Doppelganger known as Stere Hapu, was interrupted from her pause by the knocking of one of her assistants, the young Elf bowing briefly once before handing their boss a sealed envelop containing schematics and data on a specific type of Skills and Artifacts, more precisely all the Sensor-types the various Guilds recieved permission to study.

Hurriedly she stood up from lying down on her desk, her at the moment feminine form moving quickly, to take from their hands said reports and starting to quickly read and compare their characteristics, quickly separating the files in three piles.

The first pile was for the useful ones, the second for these useless for her purpose and the third and final ones was for for the "maybe" pile because of ethical concerns caused by the use of this Skills and Artifacts.

The next step was simple.

As the Rules changed ahead of the Guild's prediction, it is only natural that her organization changes with it to stay in steps with the coming times.

And her project would be a way for the Guild to further refine her Guild's precision when it comes to misuring her Adventurers' and various threats power now that the Status Page no longer shows numerical Values.

She quickly started to draw a rough sketch for the blueprint, starting to calculate the needed costs, both material- and time-based, for the creation of the Artifact while refinining the blueprint and thanks to the fact she had already completed the work for well beyond just the rest of the Month she had no worries outside of various potential emergencies.

The Elf bowed once before leaving the room, unaware of the way one of their Boss' eyes was examining them.

She had ten assistants at a time and each one of them must work as her own personal assistant three days a month, chosen between all of her assistants at the start of the previous one as demonstrated by the fact that she already had the schedule of her assistants of not only this month but also of the incoming one, while the rest are split between various miscelaneous duties, combat training, even if only rarely within Dungeons considering how no Dungeon could exist within Yggrar, and general vacantion and relaxation.

There was no particular irregularity between the schedules of her assistants in general and this one in particular, nor were there irregularity in their behavior, speech, smell or anything else wheter physical or magical.

Not only that but all of her assistants must be equivalent to an high C-Class at a minimum so replacing one of them would be quite an undertaking, an undertaking she doubted was the thing that happened.

All the same she had no doubt in her mind, something was off with her assistant, and so she started the investigation, wondering at the culprit.

10/6 4:52 (Autumn, Day, Dunrar, Hidden Dungeon)

The former Cultivator carefully observed as the threads shone golden as the final insect finally finished melting into poison, poison that slowly started to condense into a single existence together with all the Energy he accumulated.

He neared it, breathing in deeply a couple of times.

While he was able to maintain his Cultivation Stage, the third Stage of a Cultivator called Core Formation, thanks to this Dungeon his temporary master created to imitate his Worlds rules as much as they could, however he was reduced from the Fifth Step down to the Third and he was unable to regain any Qi at all considering how the Planet didn't Generate it at all.

Consequently not only he would not be able to Cultivate but it also meant that he would not be able to regain Qi once he would use any of it and living alone consumed a little bit, quantity that as he aged was increasing, limiting even further his Lifespan.

As such he could only do one thing.

He lifted an hand before posing it on the glowing cocoon, his own Qi being quickly absorbed by it and joining the nascent pseudo-Gu to familiarize it with Qi.

His own Cultivation dropped further from the third Step of the Core Formation Stage to the eight Step of the Foundation Establishment, most of his palm destroyed by the brief contact.

All his hopes, if so they could be called considering how he was hoping for something that would bring ruin to most of this World, rested on the being that will be born soon.

Meanwhile his master was observing him secretely with part of their attention while most of their remaining attention was split between their various Dungeons, recording the data on all their various Mutations to render them more and more efficient, and their spy within the Guild Headquarters.

Not the Person themself but their spy, a cell-sized Plant Monster deep within the Elf's brain that was able to share its host's senses while having no Mana or Vital Energy signature by sacrificing its ability to influence its host entirely, explaining how it was able to, even if only partially, elude the Guild Grandmaster.

All the same the rest of their attention was always stuck on the Ancestor, making sure they would not do any strange movements and considering how they were struck in a coffin made entirely out of Enchanted and Enhanced diamonds, any movement at all would be extremely strange and worrying.

Their time would come, soon.
