Narration: Sylvia shot up with her eyes wide open wailing. She looked around and saw Kira and Katy looking at her.
Katy: Hey, it was just a dream okay? Just a bad dream.
Narration: Sylvia nodded as Kira and Katy hugged her. She smiled at them and looked around. Suddenly there was clicking noises at the door as it swung open and her father and gran ran into the room. Her father quickly locked her in a hug and looked at Katy and Kira.
Dad: What happened?
Sylvia: It was a dream, a very bad one.
Gran: We heard you screaming. Are you alright?
Sylvia: Yeah, I am fine.
Narration: Sylvia looked at her Gran and maintained eye contact. Her gran nodded in realization. She looked around and saw Ethan standing at the door looking at her.
Sylvia: I am fine; besides you didn't have to come all the way here especially when I was with the girls.
Dad: I wasn't even aware that there was a sleepover organized.
Sylvia: There wasn't. it was a last minute decision. You guys can go to your rooms; I am fine really.
Kira: Sylvia, you were anything but fine. Back there you kept screaming make it stop and you were begging someone.
Sylvia: Com'on guys it was a dream, a very bad one at that. Of course I was going to scream and beg.
Katy: It may have been a dream but I have never seen anyone cry in a dream. You kept closing your ears with your hands while shedding tears and crying out.
Sylvia: It was just a bad dream.
Narration: Sylvia looks around the room feeling a bit twitchy from the dream. She noticed that all the window's glasses have a crack from one edge to another. She stands up and walk up to the windows.
Sylvia: What I want to know is how the glasses on the window has crack on it?
Kira: You wouldn't believe us if we told you.
Katy: You did it.
Dad: What do you mean she did it?
Kira: Sylvia got up wailing and in that instant, the glasses on the window immediately cracked. We even heard the sound of glass breaking from the bedside.
Sylvia: Are you sure you two were not having a dream of your own.
Ethan: I doubt.
Narration: Ethan took a breather and walked into the room heading for the bed. He pulled out the drawer and inside were shattered glass.
Gran: And how did that get there?
Sylvia: I put it there. Ethan and I use it to enjoy drinks up here.
Dad: So you are telling me that my daughter has turned into a sonic boom in her dream.
Kira: I wouldn't put it that way but it all happened after she wailed.
Sylvia: There is an explanation for it. Maybe a bat crashed into the window and the glasses in the drawer were weak.
Katy: Sorry for talking out of term but this is a topic for tomorrow morning when everybody will be wide awake.
Sylvia: Exactly besides, this is ridiculous. It was just a dream. I am going downstairs for a glass of milk. Girls, you coming?
Kira: Sure.
Katy: Nope, but get me a glass though.
Narration: Sylvia and Kira along with the rest of the Werners in her room walked out and shut the door leaving only Katy in the room. Sylvia and Kira headed down the stairs and headed into the kitchen then there was a scream that made Katy, Gran, Ethan and the father run downstairs to them.
Dad: Is everything alright?
Sylvia: No guys, look.
Narration: Everyone looked into the kitchen and saw every glassware in the kitchen with a crack on it. Ethan turned to the living room and saw the television with a long crack running from one edge to another.
Ethan: Okay, we need to know exactly what happened in here. Every glass ware in this house is shattered. Are you girls sure that it happened after Sylvia wailed?
Sylvia: so what? Maybe you will call me the wailing banshee next.
Dad: Kids, can you please put your squabble on hold please. Besides, there must be an explanation for this somewhere. How about we head back to bed.
Narration: Everybody turns to leave but Sylvia walk back towards the refrigerator and grab the bottle of milk with three glasses.
Ethan: What are you using that for?
Sylvia: I will definitely need this if I am going to sleep.
Narration: Gran called out Sylvia before she could enter the room. She then shut the door of Sylvia's room and led Sylvia back down the stairs out from earshot.
Gran: Was it a similar dream to the other?
Sylvia: Worse than the other but similar. The same lady as before was present and the fog and voices. She was here and I was hearing all the voices in my head so loudly.
Gran: That is why you wailed.
Sylvia: Yep. She kept telling me to kill someone, an atrocity that I invited. She was saying all sort of things that gave me a terrible headache.
Gran: Go back to bed and drink the milk before you sleep. Maybe it will help.
Sylvia: Thanks gran.
Narration: Sylvia walked into the room with three glasses and dropped them on the bedside table and headed into the bathroom. She walked over to the sink and was washing her face while struggling see herself with the cracked mirror. She washed her face and suddenly the water was bloody.
Kira: Sylvia, Hurry up. We might finish the milk.
Sylvia: Pour out mine for me. I am coming.
Narration: She rinsed her face and saw the blood coming down from her ears. She washed them clean and wiped her face then she walked out to see the girls fast asleep. She walks over to the bedside table and drains her glass then she climbs into bed and falls fast asleep.
