R: Sylvia Werner.
L: Marcus, Matt, Kira, Ethan.
~
Narration: Marcus walks up to Sylvia as the servants cleared up the table. She was watching how they walked and observing how Marcus, Zeke and Matt had strolled over into the sitting room after dinner.
Marcus: Hope you enjoyed the dinner?
Sylvia: Hurts me to admit but I enjoyed myself today. Thank you.
Marcus: So Sylvia, I say you talking to Zeke and I heard my name a few times. Care to tell me what it was about?
Sylvia: It's Miss Sylvia to … why do I even bother. What I discussed with Zeke is deemed personal. Don't worry.
Marcus: Don't remember you snapping at me when I called you Sylvia during the dinner.
Sylvia: Well, I was just being courteous but a behavior like that doesn't last long even to a multibillionaire, at least not from me.
Marcus: This is the main reason why I employed you as my Personal assistant.
Sylvia: What is the main reason?
Marcus: Your character, your ability to stand up to me is marvelous something that I haven't seen from people since I made it in life.
Sylvia: Come to think of it, you are actually the cause of it. You always seem to emit an intimidating aura when you are around people coupled with that cold expressionless look that you always carry on your face. Those are enough to put a man to his heels.
Marcus: But I don't see you running and you are not even a man. It seems like you actually developed an immune system to combat the so called aura of mine.
Sylvia: Well, I am no man and not just any woman. Besides your first impression towards me made me build the immune system you are referring to.
Marcus: Well, I would actually want to see more of what you can do.
Sylvia: Sadly, enough, that would have to be postponed. I think my time for departure is nigh.
Matt: Wow, you even keep time to walk out on boys.
Narration: Matt chuckled walking up to the duo.
Marcus: Matt, last I checked it was a discussion between me and my Personal assistant. I don't see where you come in under those classifications.
Matt: Sorry bro.
Sylvia: Well, I will actually have to be going. Thanks for the dinner by the way.
Marcus: You can mention that when I drop you off.
Narration: Marcus and Sylvia walk out of the mansion. Sylvia notices a car parked in front of the front door but different from the one that she had arrived in.
Marcus: Get in the car.
Sylvia: Is this how you actually change cars around here?
Marcus: More or less and soon enough, so will you. The car key I gave you can open five different cars and you are not expected to drive a car twice in a day.
Sylvia: What is that, Office policy?
Marcus: Boss's expectations. Get in and let's go. It's a full moon and you don't want to know what things lurk in the dark in the streets of New York.
Sylvia: What else if not thieves and muggers, or don't tell me you believe in superstitious crap about full moon monsters.
Marcus: Hahaha, aren't you the funny one? Who mentioned anything about monsters.
Narration: They got into the car and Marcus drove off out of the mansion and straight to the highway.
Narration: The car drove up to the front of Sylvia's house and surprisingly, Kira was standing in front of the house about to knock.
Sylvia: Hey Kira!
Kira: Hmm, someone just came back from dinner with her hot crush. How was the dinner?
Sylvia: Kira, enough with the jokes already, and the dinner was fine.
Marcus: Kira right? Nice to see you again.
Kira: Oh, hi Mr. Silverdore.
Marcus: Please, call me Marcus. So Sylvia, I will be coming early tomorrow to get you. Please don't delay me.
Sylvia: I won't unless you decide to calculate and appear before designated time. Good night.
Narration: Marcus wished her well and got back into the car driving off as Kira waved him away.
Kira: And you just couldn't tell me that he was the person that dropped you off.
Sylvia: Well, I wasn't the one who told you to grow the big mouth. Com'on in.
Narration: The two girls walked into the house and acknowledged everyone onside the house. They walked up straight the stairs to Sylvia's room.
Kira: So how was the dinner?
Sylvia: Cool for a dinner. So you are sleeping over?
Kira: yeah sure, just need to get showered then I will be off to wonderland.
Sylvia: Well, you know the way to the bathroom.
Narration: Kira grunted her way into the bathroom while Sylvia changed into her night gown. She sat down on her bed and there was a knock on her door.
Sylvia: Come in, it is open.
Narration: The door opens and Ethan walks in looking at her. she sighs and he walks up to her and seats beside her.
Sylvia: What is it now, come to give me lectures again?
Ethan: Sylvia, I came to apologize. I am so sorry for everything that I had blabbed in the past few days.
Sylvia: I am disappointed Et, even a five year old would say no to that apology.
Ethan: I am sure that you may never forgive me again in your life for everything that I said but the truth is I didn't mean any of it. I was just hoping that I would hurt you enough to make you drop the job. I was afraid of what this house would be like without you in it to keep me on my toes, I just thought that maybe if you take the new job and leave that you may… that you may forget me.
Sylvia: Oh Ethan, I don't know what to say. I understood why you were doing it but I didn't get why you didn't speak to me about it. We have always been close but you just made me feel distant. And just so you know, I can never forget you. You are my brother and a definitely annoying one at that but you are still my brother and I will love you like no one else.
Ethan: So does this heartwarming speech of ours mean that I am forgiven?
Sylvia: I was never angry at you to begin with and I am sorry. I should have understood what you were going through.
Narration: The sibling hugged and tears flowed from Sylvia's eyes onto Ethan's shoulder. The bathroom door opened but they took no notice.
Kira: Oops, sorry for disturbing the family make up ceremony.
Ethan: No need, I was just leaving by the way.
Narration: Ethan stood up from the bed and nodded at Kira then after smiling at his sister, he walked out of the room. Sylvia laid back placing her head on a pillow and looking up smiling.
Kira: So does this mean that you two are finally together as brother and sister again?
Sylvia: We were never apart, just lost in each other. But things will be alright from now on. They must.
