Chapter 7 - Game On

"I don't understand why we all cover up our private parts when they kinda look similar, but we show the world our faces when we do not look the same."

Jen casually said while going crazy on her burger.

Sebastian was indeed, too stunned to speak.

"Are you sure this is what you want for dinner? You know I have the card with me, I can get you something much better than this..." Sebastian tried to change the topic since he had no idea how he was supposed to answer Jen's weird little comment on the human body and societal issues.

Although Jen promised Sebastian that the two of them did not end up doing what they did in that video, he still felt bad for this entire situation- he offered to get them some proper food but Jen ordered some takeout from an unknown little place.

"Don't be a prick and try it." Jen looked up at Sebastian, who still hadn't opened the packing of his burger, "I ordered you the newest sweet and sour chili burger with extra bacon, without tomatoes. Try it."

"How do you know I don't like tomatoes?" Sebastian was quite surprised, he didn't know Jen would care about him so much- or that anyone would remember his dietary habits.

Did she notice that he picked out his tomatoes during lunch one day? She is so thoughtful...

"I was supposed to be your nanny, remember? Lynn told me." Jen grabbed a box of fries," The fries here are also good, eat it while it's still hot. Stop sitting there and acting like a stone man. Come on, eat, then we need to think about what to do next."

Jen's words pulled Sebastian back to reality- right, technically she was just one of his employees so it made sense that she would remember what her boss liked to eat.

Sebastian didn't want to upset Jen, so he started slowly unpacking his dinner, but he still felt like everything was so surreal- his dad just disappeared, without a message; he got dragged back to YD and now he is being framed for harming Jen.

And who exactly is Jen, why is she so calm about everything that is happening? Can she really be trusted?

"I think you should stop trusting everything and everyone." Jen took a sip of her drink and started speaking to Sebastian, "I don't know who you asked to book that restaurant for us, but that person must be involved with this whole... you and me sleeping chained up event. We should really name this."

"What do you mean? The people in YD did this to me? To us? But why? Why would they want to ruin the image of their own company... Or are you saying we have spies??" Sebastian almost choked, he couldn't believe Jen was suddenly going with the conspiracy theory.

"I don't know anything about your story, about this company and who you have messed with when you were younger, little mister CEO of the big big company. But I can say you are not 100% loved and protected, so you need to be more careful. Ok?"

"So, can I trust you? I also don't know you." Sebastian asked, looking straight at Jen, afraid that she would give him a bad answer.

"Of course not, you shouldn't trust me as well. You don't know me. Lynn also doesn't know me. She knew my parents somehow from way back, and she felt bad that they passed away so early so she wanted to give me a job. I guess a useless position next to you might be the only thing I am good for."

Jen said while getting up to clean up the table, "Do you want something else to drink? Sorry if this dinner isn't really your type but I feel so hungry and just have to eat something bad."

"Did Lynn get you this apartment?" Sebastian asked, "That's the least she can do if she wanted to help you out." Sebastian wanted to ask her about this the first time they stepped into the door- this apartment looked well-maintained and was spacious enough for an entire family to live in.

"No, this was from my parents. Believe it or not, they used to have some money but lost it somehow. Especially after they passed away, I just didn't want to deal with the documents. I'm sure they left something for me, but I would rather not go to the bank and tell them that my parents are gone."

Sebastian felt very bad that he started this uncomfortable discussion and he could see that Jen didn't want to mention her parents. The two were silent for a while when Sebastian started staring at her rainbow-color stuffed bear, what a... special taste she has.

"Hey you don't need to feel bad Sebastian, you should ask me more questions." Jen called him over from the kitchen, "Maybe I tied myself up next to you so that I could be part of your company forever hahaha."

"How could you tie yourself up, you were struggling like a captured octopus Jen."

Sebastian also started joking around, "This is a good sign." Jen thought to herself.

She didn't know why she wanted Sebastian to be happy.

She just did.

She thought she would be so angry and hurt after waking up next to him almost naked. Her hands were burning from the handcuff, her stomach was aching, and her eyes could barely see...

But she was not angry, she just wanted to comfort Sebastian, even though she also needed some help.

"Why did Lynn say you rented a place?"

"That's for school. And that isn't really rented, that was borrowed from a classmate, I cat sit for them and they let me stay there during the vacation when I had a job near school. This place is too far."

"I can arrange a car for you. If Lynn is not angry at me anymore."

"Sebastian, do I need to repeat myself? You cannot trust everyone in your company yet. Arrange a car for you... They might drive you to the airport and ship you away without you knowing. I am not trying to break your family apart but I am just saying, think twice before you start asking for favors."

Sebastian didn't want to admit that Jen was right, but he knew she was. Although Jen wanted to put all of that behind them, they were just framed and that could have gone horribly wrong.

Who did it? And what were they going to do next with the recording?

Thinking of these questions made Sebastian stressed. Jen noticed how he became quiet again, and came out to check on him.

"You know what, I have a plan to figure this out," Jen said while wiping water off her hand, "Let's play with them."

Sebstain was surprised to hear that from Jen, he thought she would want to say goodbye to him, Lynn, and YD forever after what happened yesterday, but when he looked up, Jen was getting closer and closer to him.

Her hair was untied again, lying on her shoulder, covering up her cheeks, but he thought she looked the best with her hair tied up at the back.

She kept moving closer and closer when they were almost in the "ready to kiss" position again, Sebastian didn't know what he should do- avoid her.

But that might hurt her feelings.

Also, move forward. But what if she wasn't coming in for a kiss?

Before he could figure something out, Jen whispers next to his ears- "Let's get ready to clap back."

She had an evil smile on her face that was rather funny to Sebastian. He thought she must be joking.

"Clap, back?" Sebastian seemed very confused at this.

But before he could laugh out loud or say no, Jen started tieing her hair up again-

"Take off your shirt, let's go make them some evidence."
