"Krystal!" Felix called and she looked up at him. He didn't look happy one bit. Justin traced Felix's gaze to her arms around him.
"Hey, your brother wants you to take your hands off." He said.
"Oh!" Krystal exclaimed but wasn't going to take her hands off anytime soon. "But I like holding him. It's safe and relaxing!" She bent her head to rest on him and closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling.
Felix felt annoyed and walked towards them. He took hold of her and lifted her up. Her arms loosened right away and let go.
"Eh?" Krystal exclaimed, confused. She wondered how she had gotten off the bike and looked up to see Felix holding her in the air. She glared daggers at him and he felt it.
"Sorry to interrupt your 'joyride' but it's late. If we don't get home now, we'll end up having instant noodles again." Felix pointed out dropping her to stand on her feet.
"Sure, sure." She sighed disappointedly. "Gotta go, friend. I'll play with you some other time." She said, turning with a hail.
"Never!" Justin exclaimed. He was dead-hell frustrated and she was just so annoying.
"I see you two are getting along pretty well." Carly said as she approached him.
"Don't count on it." He shook his head.
"Then how'd the job go?" She inquired expectantly.
"Tormenting and..." His mind flashed back to when she yelled in excitement. She laughed and smiled all the way and he suddenly found himself smiling. He looked at Carly who was giving him an expectant look. "...forget it!" He looked away and turned on the engine of his bike.
"You're such a bore!" She exclaimed pitifully.
"Thanks!" He said with a smile and rode away leaving her to shake her head.
"You behaved really badly." Felix pointed out.
"What? Me?!" Krystal exclaimed. "How?"
"Yeah, Krystal, you were all clingy like you actually like the guy." Quinella chipped in and Krystal smiled. She looked up at the sky and didn't give a reply.
"Maybe I do!" She finally said and looked back at her. "Just because I was betrayed by love, doesn't mean I can't like someone, right?"
"You like… the brat with an awful personality?" Felix snapped.
"Awful but fascinating!" She giggled and skipped forward, skipping like a five year old.
Felix and Quinella watched from behind. Felix had a grimmed expression while Quinella could only look on, puzzled at the word love.
They got home and Felix immediately started cooking. Quinella sliced up the ingredients and Krystal stood there observing since there was nothing she could actually do.
"Are you really going to play the piano tomorrow night?" Felix asked, his attention still fixed on the food.
"Yeah I guess." Krystal answered feeling sure of herself.
"What piece will you play?" Quinella asked.
"Don't wanna give myself away, so I'll play a simple classic." She said,
"Come on, let's set up the plates." Quinella said and Krystal rushed towards her to help in setting up the dishes. Felix had cooked hotpot but not too greasy. He feared that Krystal's body couldn't keep up with too much grease, so he took precautions, but the food was still so good that Krystal licked her lips after the first bite.
"I really gotta learn how to cook." She exclaimed and Quinella laughed.
"You've got a whole lot of time to learn." Felix simply said and she nodded, eating some more.
The next day, around 6pm, the cafe was already out of space. The people kept coming that they were out of chairs. They didn't expect so many people but really, who doesn't like free stuff?
Most people came out of curiosity while others wanted to try out the shop's delicacies first hand before they decide to spend their money there.
"I guess we've got to open the top floor." Mr Quaid said and the rest nodded. The shop had an up floor but they didn't think they'd get to use it.
Now they really needed it and thankfully, it was in good shape, clean and tidy.
They all set to work and started serving out their different specialties. It took the whole day to make but with the dedication of Felix and Quaid, they were able to make enough pastries. Now all the tables, including the ones on the top floor, were filled.
It was time for Krystal to perform.
