"What?" Justin asked, unsure of what she meant by 'I owe you one'.
"I owe you for saving me, so what do you want me to do to release myself from the debt?" Krystal explained but he simply stared at her without a word.
'This girl, she doesn't know that I'm actually the one indebted here. If she didn't do the delivery in my place, she would never have gotten into this mess.' Justin thought, still staring at her. 'Just forget it! I'll use it to my advantage.' He concluded by nodding to himself. "I'll just hold you up on that."
"Okay. Let's go!" She said, ushering him up.
"Go where?" He asked.
"Let's get out of the hospital. Do you want to stay at the hospital some more? I don't. The smell of disinfectant is killing me." Krystal complained terribly and he smiled.
"Sure. Let's go."
Justin removed the cover from his body and got up. He looked at Felix and wondered.
'I guess she's always like that. If not, her brother wouldn't stand by and watch her behave this way.' Krystal assisted him in walking. His mind was completely off, so he didn't notice. 'But I seem to have heard them arguing about being safe or something like that, I can't recall.' He shook his head trying to get the thought out.
He looked at her. Her glasses had been on the whole time. He tried to picture her without glasses. Her face was indeed great, her skin looked smooth and soft, if only she didn't wear glasses, probably those brown eyes of hers would sparkle.
Krystal was walking gently with Justin in her mind. She couldn't help but wonder what would've happened if he didn't show up, taking a deadly risk to go against that madman.
She had thought of it over and over but the thought just made her bitter. But what she couldn't get was why he took the risk to save her. He clearly said they weren't friends, so why? She liked him but did he like her too?
Well, there was no harm in confessing. Even if he rejected her confession, she wouldn't feel too bad because he already made it clear that he didn't want to be friends with her, much less enter a relationship with her.
Felix, on the other hand, was feeling bad. He thought to himself that his negligence had almost put the princess in grave danger. He started to wonder what would've happened if Justin didn't show up in time. And for some reason, he didn't like Justin.
Anytime he saw Krystal talking to him so freely and him saying mean words, he felt like tearing him apart. In fact, he didn't like seeing them together at all.
Now that they were walking with hands hooked, all he wanted to do was separate them but he didn't want to offend Krystal. He had already said enough back at Justin's ward and he was sure Krystal would have a serious talk with him once they were out of prying eyes.
Now he had mixed feelings of guilt and disappointment. He was seriously disappointed in himself for not thinking before speaking.
Just then, two kids ran happily and passed the two who had their hands hooked, so they separated. Krystal was looking at the kids who were still running when someone bumped into her. He must've been a guardian who was chasing after the kids in order to stop them.
Krystal lost balance and missed her step, she fell forward and waited for her face to hit the ground but instead, her glasses fell and she only saw them crash on the floor. She didn't fall. She noticed an arm around her waist. She looked up to see Justin looking nonchalantly at her.
But as soon as their eyes met, Justin's eyes widened.
"You... You have golden eyes!" He exclaimed in shock but Krystal didn't seem to care that he found out.
This amount of closeness was frying her brain. She kept her eyes fixed on his. His emerald eyes were so fascinating that she couldn't get her eyes off of them.
"I love your eyes." She suddenly said.
'Wait, isn't that supposed to be my line?' Justin thought and shook his head. What was he thinking now? Krystal wanted to look more but got dragged forcefully from behind. It was Felix. He glared at Justin with disdain.
"You're fine now and we're extremely grateful, but we have to leave." He said to Justin.
He didn't want them to be together for another minute.
"Oh, alright." Justin said. "Take care then."
"Make sure to eat lots of food, okay?" Krystal reminded him before Felix pulled her away. But that did not stop her from waving at Justin joyously as they left.
"Ah!" Justin exclaimed. "That dude's got some serious sister complex!"
His eyes fell on the glasses on the floor. He picked them up and examined them. They weren't medicated, so why did she always have them on? Was it for the looks?
He couldn't help but remember her golden eyes. They were extremely breathtaking and seeing them so closely, he almost forgot how to breathe.
Her eyes reminded him of a certain princess though.
