Aruara, the mother of all gods, gathered her divine offspring from around the world for a celestial feast in the divine realm. Sammy found himself seated next to Ogun, the Yoruba god of iron, who exuded an air of seriousness that seemed to rival even the weight of his divine dominion.
As the divine feast unfolded, Sammy, ever the jester, couldn't resist poking fun at the stoic Ogun.
"Hey, Ogun, hope you don't mind if I call you 'Iron Chef.' I hear you're a real heavyweight in the kitchen of the gods!" Sammy quipped, a mischievous grin on his face.
Ogun, unamused, replied with a stern expression, "I am the god of iron and war, mortal. Show respect."
Sammy, undeterred, continued with his banter, "Iron and war, huh? So, what's your favorite weapon? An iron skillet or a warhammer?"
A few chuckles from the other gods echoed through the celestial hall, but Ogun remained stoic.
Later, as the feast continued, Sammy, still reveling in his comedic role, leaned over to Aruara.
"So, this divine realm is like the ultimate Airbnb for gods, right? Any chance I could book a room with a nice view of the heavenly buffet?" he joked.
Aruara, with her perpetual smile, replied, "You're a unique mortal, Sammy. But no, this realm is not for mortals to stay. It's a gathering place for gods."
Sammy, with a theatrical sigh, quipped, "Guess I'll have to stick to earthly accommodations then. No divine room service for me."
Curiosity getting the better of him, Sammy asked, "So, is it just gods who live here? Any roommates or celestial janitors?"
Aruara's smile widened as she responded, "No, we have servants and also Valkyries."
Sammy, with a mischievous twinkle in his eye, remarked, "Oh, those hot chicks! I always wondered if I could date one of them."
Aruara, maintaining her composure, advised, "I would suggest against that if you plan to keep the little you intact."
Sammy shivered, realizing the implications of her words. "What a dark family," he thought.
Aruara, as if reading his thoughts, laughed out loud. "Dark indeed."
In that moment, the atmosphere shifted. Aruara's smile faded, and for the first time, she looked serious. Sammy couldn't help but notice the change in the expressions of the other gods around him.
"I want to see that lion," she declared, her eyes penetrating.
Sammy, suddenly aware of the gravity of the situation, nodded hesitantly. Little did he know that the feast had taken an unexpected turn, and the gods' expressions hinted at revelations yet to come.
