Chapter 12 - Divine valkyrie Requests

Amidst the divine feast, Aruara, the mother of all gods, turned her attention to Sammy with a question that hung in the air like cosmic mist.

"Sammy, would you like to stay a while here with me?" she asked, her tone carrying a peculiar blend of warmth and cosmic authority.

Feeling like he didn't have much of a choice, Sammy, ever the jester, replied with a mock bow, "Well, when the mother of gods invites you, it's not like you can decline, right?"

Aruara, with a wise smile, began to unveil a piece of cosmic history. "Your power, Sammy, once belonged to a demon of reality named Azon. He ruled over the underworld, and it took Hades, Anubis, Esu, Ala, and Pluto to defeat him and seal his power. Even I couldn't destroy it. After that, we shared the underworld into five barriers and ruled independently."

Sammy, absorbing the information, couldn't help but ask, "So, why the sudden interest in me and my cosmic comedy powers?"

Aruara gave a heavy stare at Loki, making him feel like the weight of ten planets just fell on him. She continued, "My son, Loki, convinced some of the gods to grant someone power without letting them master it for his own amusement. Some might not understand my decision because they were young during the supreme battle between the gods and demons. I'm making sure we don't have another Azon on our hands."

In a more serious tone, Sammy replied, "So, you can kill me whenever you want, basically?"

Aruara, still smiling, acknowledged, "Basically true."

Sammy returned the smile and added, "Of course, on one condition."

Curiosity sparked in Aruara's eyes. "What is it?"

"I want a Valkyrie to serve me food," Sammy declared, adding a touch of humor to the request. "And also, I want you to tell me a bedtime story about the supreme war."

Athena snapped, "Watch your words, human. Mother is—"

"Calm down," Aruara gently interrupted, her smile unwavering. "But I still stand by my advice about the Valkyries, boy."

Sammy, undeterred, replied confidently, "Well, I have my ways, so don't worry about me."

The room fell into a stunned silence as the gods processed Sammy's boldness. After a moment, Aruara spoke again.

"I have something to ask of you too, Sammy."

He raised an eyebrow, "And what might that be?"

"With your power, I want you to become a god, if you want that is."

Sammy could feel the collective gaze of the gods fixated on him. The atmosphere became both tense and charged. Sammy, breaking the tension with humor, asked, "Does that mean you'd be my new mother?"

Aruara smiled and affirmed, "Yes, of course."

Sammy, still maintaining his humor, replied, "I'll think about it."

Aruara, with a knowing smile, added, "I hope you do, for your own sake."

Sammy, with a wink, said, "I'll be looking forward to the Valkyrie treatment." And with that, the divine banquet continued, with the cosmic comedy unfolding in unexpected ways, leaving the gods in awe of the mortal who had become a celestial guest in their realm.
