I could feel it. Something bothering Harvey so much since earlier. He never acted this clingy if he had no problem. He always used this excuse of being clingy to distract his mind from anything that bothered him.
I didn't mind though. I loved being around him and cuddling for the whole night was indeed a good time. But I couldn't just let myself sit back and watch him carry all those problems alone. I am his mate after all. I should be there for him whenever he needs me.
A shoulder to cry on. A soul to rely on. A friend to go through the light and dark.
And that would be me.
I saw the fatigue in his eyes. I pitied him because he should have borne all of those duties at such a young age. But again, I never understood how the werewolf system works. Other Alphas were also taking over their position at the same age as Harvey. And they also hold the same amount of responsibilities as Harvey.
