Weeks passed and fortunately, everything went fine. No problems from the humans. And no disturbance coming from Ironmaws. It was a peaceful day indeed.
But it was strange.
It almost felt like a quiet night before the storm came.
And it kept making me worry for no reason. Chill, Harvey. You might be overthinking with this one. Who knows? Maybe Ironmaws indeed has stopped their hunt? Or maybe they were just becoming bored and decided that human hunting wasn't fun anymore.
I needed to take a chill pill. Every problem that came in these past weeks has made me stressed and almost got trust issues for something called peace.
I glanced at the paperwork I should be checking now. It was about the daily supply for our packs. I had been so busy finding that witness to the point I didn't realize there was a problem in there.
