Third person POV
"Cool, isn't it?" Htet said to Akira in cool positivity.
Akira then nodded after snapping out from being stunned. "Yeah, it was, Htet, that was so cool!"
The Yamauba were angry at Htet for ruining their biggest magic yet.
"How dare you ruin it?"
"You humans are indeed selfish!"
Hachi and the four travelers were worried for Akira and Htet.
"Selfish?" Akira replied back. "We're just doing this so we could teach a lesson not to do things like that."
"Why not?" one of the yokai retorted back. "You and your other fellow humans are just selfish and accusing others falsely for their own personal and selfish gains. We were victims of being falsely accused of crimes we never did."
"Now you're doing bad things now!" Htet shouted back. "You old ladies are hypocritical now!"
"We're doing these things to teach you humans a lesson for being selfish!" another Yamauba replied back strongly.
"Look," Akira responded back while giving himself a facepalm, "not all of us humans are not selfish. It varies from one individual to another. For example, me and my two friends are not selfish, and we are against it strictly."
This time, the Yamauba looked stunned at his statement.
"What?"
"Is that so?"
"Yes," Hachi responded while walking into the scene, "we would never do things against anyone, especially for our personal gains. We want you to stop this. You're becoming like those selfish humans now."
"Yes, exactly," Htet added. "We know your stories and pain. At least, learn from your past experiences of being forced into exile for the things you never did in your lives and become good ones, okay?"
Because of that, the Yamauba began to think and realize what they had been doing to humans for centuries and now, they regretted all of them. Those yokai cried in regret and begged Akira and his friends for forgiveness, before doing the same thing to their four victims. Eventually, Akira, Hachi, and Htet, alongside the four travelers, eventually forgave them in response.
After that, both sides made peace, and the seven humans eventually left the Yamauba's home territory with peace and relief in their eyes. Shortly after, they journeyed back to Tokyo by train, and the four travelers were eventually reunited with their loved ones. Akira, Hachi, and Htet were happy for them. And then, at the Shibata Supernatural Agency, the three were congratulated by Masashi, Toshi, and Valentino, alongside some detectives from the Maruyama Supernatural Agency. So, they declared the case at Mount Oyama solved and closed.
After lunchtime, Akira and Hachi parted ways with Htet, and Htet eventually went back with his supervisor to their agency in Kawasaki. But, all of these experiences of working together to solve a supernatural case had left a commonality between Akira and Hachi on one side, and Htet on the other: they are into the supernatural.
