With everyone inside the Carriage I decided to start the conversation with the most important information that I had discovered in the meantime that they were outside.
"My soul has reached the limit of the first rank and has not evolved beyond that. I feel that my soul power has improved qualitatively, this could be because my soul power is not pure enough by this world's standards or this world does not allow the soul to be a rank above magical power." – I explained to them.
The girls around me basically all knew what I was talking about, only Ginny was lost.
"What are you talking about?" – she asked confused.
"I more or less know how to quantify magic power and soul power. Soul power generally increases when you practice occlumency and legilimency. My discharge reached the limit of the first rank, which is what we all are, but it did not progress to the next. In terms of magical power we are all on the first rank, with Gemma on the seventh and final level, me on the sixth level, Bridget and you on the fourth level and Millicent on the third." – I explained to her.
She was still a little lost about it, but ended up accepting it.
"You need to train your soul to improve learning, memory retention, fortification of the mind and acceleration of thoughts. This also has a direct effect on your sense of danger and mental reflexes." – I continued the explanation, more for Ginny than for the others, but reinforcement was always good.
Ginny grimaced at having to learn Occlumency and Ligelimency.
"When we have an opportunity I will teach you a technique for this, but right now I think it would be good for you to follow the conversation." – I said trying to dispel her concerns.
Ginny nodded after that.
"Now moving on to the situation inside the castle. Apparently someone paid for basically every student to receive a copy of the Daily Prophet, the topic of the castle today and the next few days will be the article about Millicent's family." – I said, starting the conversation that two other passengers needed to hear.
Gemma and Millicent adjusted themselves in their seats ready to start this conversation.
"I had a strong feeling that with the absence of the possibility of control over Millicent through marriage, the purebloods would probably be more aggressive. Gemma has run away from home and this will turn into pressure both on her parents and in person at Hogwarts." – I started to explain.
They both bit their lips knowing it was a real possibility.
They needed to prepare for the party that was about to happen in the castle, especially since I knew they were going to show their relationship openly.
"Another point you need to think about is your careers from now on. I've been instructing Bridget in potions, Ginny has also learned some, but clearly that's not the path she wants to take. The most urgent decision is Gemma's." – I said so they could start thinking.
At that moment the carriage fell into a brief silence.
"I kind of always liked herbology, but I hadn't thought about following this path until then, because I never had very good grades. Being heir to the noblest Bulstrode house always ended up giving me a future." – commented Millicent, somewhat embarrassed.
I nodded at her.
"You still remain the Heiress, but you need to think about what to do in your future, since you probably won't have a common marriage, so the responsibilities of the house may not fall to you. Regarding your grades, as you evolve your soul power you will realize that the things that were previously difficult to learn were just small stones in your path." – I said to her.
Millicent nodded, she knew from her memories that soul power would enable her to learn whatever she wanted, even if she wasn't the brightest of people.
"We can create a greenhouse on the terrace of my house during the summer and you can start working with herbology if that is your choice." – I added.
She didn't want to react too much about it, but I could see she liked the idea.
Ginny was also in deep thought at that moment, I knew what her personality was like, but we hadn't discussed the future until now.
"I can't think of anything else, when I got home I ended up having a long argument with my parents and when they asked me about what I would do with my life, I ended up paying lip service to Quidditch and Dueling Championships, but In the end I can't think of anything other than that." – she explained after giving up thinking.
I couldn't hide my smile. This was well within what I expected from her. I already knew she liked Quidditch and the only reason she didn't try out for the team this year was because she didn't have a decent broomstick.
"I don't know if I can help you much with Quidditch, I know very little about the sport, but when it comes to duels... I believe we can turn the basement of my house into a training room to practice spells and maybe train duels." – I said, encouraging her to look for more about her interest.
At that moment Bridget joined the conversation.
"I heard that Professor Flitwick was a great dueling champion in his youth, perhaps you could ask him for reading recommendations." – she suggested.
I was a little surprised by the information, not that I had anything against our teacher because of his disadvantageous height, but he gave off a less aggressive impression for someone who was a dueling champion. Of course, this could be due to the fact that I come from a warrior background and Duels seem to be more of an element of elegance.
At that moment it was Gemma's turn to speak.
"Of all the classes I've taken so far, my interest is most in Ancient Runes. I find it easy to learn how to translate them and I know that wards are mainly made of runes, I would like to delve deeper into that." – she commented.
I was happy with her choice.
"We still don't have enough power for this, but in the future I plan to test the application of runes to Spells to enhance their effects, the magical knowledge that I know often applies symbology to stabilize, enhance and many other effects on Spells." – I explained to her.
At that moment Gemma seemed to think of something.
She thought for a few moments and extended her hand.
A small red-orange rune appeared in her hand.
The rune soon became a small flame.
"This is the rune that symbolizes fire, it has half a dozen more translations depending on the context, but it is one of the best known practical runes, if you apply it during Incendio we will have two sources of fire creation. With practice the effect should be different from simply one plus one equals two." – she said using all the processing power of her brain.
My lips formed a sideways smile at that moment.
Her soul had increased in power significantly in recent times, it seems my advice to marathon with Millicent was put to good use before the winter break.
Gemma had basically caught up to Professor Mcgonagall on this issue.
Here we had among us a Potion Maker (Dan Maker), an herbologist to cultivate our rarest ingredients and a Rune Maker to produce wards, amulets and other enchanted objects and a Quidditch player/Duelist.
None of them wanted the same thing, which was a little surprising.
But even so, they would soon be able to help each other because at least three of them would have more direct influence on each other and Ginny would be there for them to train in combat whenever possible.
I wanted to see how far they could go before the end of the year, because when we went to my house I was going to make the most of them as possible.
