Chapter 58 - Snape to the Rescue of the Idiot Pureblood

The common room's reaction was minimally comical. I was having fun watching the reaction of all the stupid supremacists gathered here.

But one person wasn't enjoying the moment and that person was Millicent.

She didn't want to be a focal point. Her personality didn't fit well with that.

I could see her blushing from the attention she was getting.

The only thing stopping her from running away was the fact that Gemma was holding her hand.

Malfoy needed a few seconds to recover.

"Who are you trying to fool by saying this is Bulstrode." – he said at high volume.

Gemma shrugged as if to say 'believe me because it's true'.

Malfoy didn't like this attitude and spent a few seconds stuttering until he found the right insult.

"Did her freak mom find a source of Polyjuice Potion?" – he asked full of venom.

At that moment Millicent's eyes flashed with hatred.

Insulting someone's mother is a low blow, something Malfoy loves to do.

Before she could do anything I stepped out from behind Bridget and stepped between them.

"I think you better choose your next words carefully." – I said to the little prince.

Malfoy thought I had intervened on Millicent's behalf, when in fact I had done it so she wouldn't almost kill him. The difference between my transformation and hers was that I had days to adapt to my body. Even though her muscles hadn't grown, she was already someone with a considerable amount of strength and with the improvement of her body this strength would be enhanced even without muscle gain.

Maybe Malfoy had forgotten the last time someone offended her.

Or he really wants to get half a dozen punches in the face.

"These two should be ashamed of themselves and stop behaving like freaks and open their legs to those who settle for them." – he said with unfounded superiority.

I blinked twice to make sure he said that, I could hear Millicent's breathing become erratic.

I grabbed his shoulder so he couldn't escape, he tried to break away from me, but my hand was as firm as metal.

Before he could do anything, I gave Millicent space to pass and with her came an explosive punch towards his face, as soon as it made contact the little prince's face would turn to puree.

Just a few centimeters away from the face, a Shielding Charm formed in front of Millicent's fist, stopping her strike.

She received all the impact back in her arm and thanks to the strength of her bones nothing was broken.

I turned my gaze to the entrance of the common room and saw our beloved Head of the House with his wand in hand.

"What do you think you are doing?" – he asked in his usual monotonous voice.

I looked at him more clearly to see if I could discern anything other than disgust on his face, but my conclusion was that he wouldn't let anything happen to the little prince, even if Malfoy was wrong.

"Professor, from the way you stopped Millicent's punch I believe you heard our dear housemate's words?" – I asked, tilting my head to the side in an attempt to provoke him.

I shouldn't have done this, but it was stronger than me. Snape was too irritating in my eyes with his favoritism and horrible personality.

"I don't care about your excuses, Mr Mao. You know very well that you must not use violence inside the castle." – he replied petulantly.

I took a deep breath.

"It depends on your concept of violence. Physical Violence is one thing and Verbal Violence and Psychological Violence are another. Our dear housemate used Verbal and Psychological Violence, so I believe the use of Physical Violence is fully justifiable." – I said, continuing the conversation.

I could see Bridget getting nervous, I could see Gemma getting agitated, and I could also see Millicent huffing in outrage.

And while this was happening I was still holding Malfoy without letting him escape.

"Only weak-minded people resort to physical violence over mere words. Release Mister Malfoy immediately." – said Snape in an imperative tone.

I shook my head up and down as if I was agreeing with him.

"I understood. In the Professor's opinion, Malfoy's words have no weight and should be ignored as they were said by an idiot who doesn't even know what he is doing inside Hogwarts." – I said as if I had discovered Snape's intention.

The teacher in front of me was almost paralyzed with shock and anger upon hearing my words. He was clearly trying to rescue Malfoy, but he didn't want to be so in-your-face. But my words were humiliating both of them in this situation.

"You fucking troglodyte, let me go now and I'll show you and these two freaks what it's like to be a real pureblood in my bed." – Malfoy shouted in the most idiotic way possible.

I didn't even look at him, I pressed my fingers along his collarbone until I felt something snap.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH! – shouted the little prince.

Snape took two steps forward, but stopped when he saw that I was increasing the pressure even more with each step of his.

"What do you think you're doing?!" – shouted the Professor.

I let my head fall to the other side and smiled.

"Oops, he's a little fragile." – I replied in a casual tone.

Snape was almost losing control.

"I believe that no matter how much your occlumency can keep your emotions in check, if someone said something like that to you, they wouldn't live long." – I commented, almost asking.

Snape's expressionless face tensed.

Occlumency is one of those types of magic that isn't talked about openly. Many pureblood families own the method for their training so that this art was considered too dangerous for students to learn.

"We are all adults here, our words have weight. He didn't just make fun of someone, he insulted the moral integrity of my friend and her mother. As well as making tavern-worthy comments about Gemma and Millicent. If you want to hold someone accountable for something, hold them accountable. If you want to blame someone, it's all theirs. He was the one who started the argument, he was the one who insulted the honor of one of the families belonging to the Sacred 28, and he was the one who didn't listen to my advice when I pointed out that he should keep his mouth shut." – I said looking calmly at Professor Snape.

Snape was almost a millimeter away from losing his temper.

"A single punch is all I ask to end this matter and I won't be the one to throw it. Otherwise…" – I offered, leaving the consequences of denial vague.

Snape was present when I told him what I would do when he wanted to attack someone.

He was afraid that I would take that plan to some extent if he denied my proposal. But at the same time he didn't want to let me win, but much less did he want it to leave the common room.

What had happened here was a clear case of defamation and this could take the matter to court making everything snowball down a mountain.

A tremendous shit show.

With clenched teeth he nodded and turned to leave.

"Milli." – I caught the girl's attention.

Millicent woke up a second after I called her and soon understood what she had to do.

She prepared the best punch and… Pow!

Malfoy's nose turned into a pool of blood, even worse than when I stepped on his face, that night I had controlled myself.

Okay, not with Crabbe and Goyle, but with the others I did.

"Take Mister Malfoy to the infirmary and I don't want to hear a single comment outside the common room on the matter." – declared Professor Snape to the others.
