Chapter 60 - The Weasley Conversation

Ginny POV

After separating from Kai and the girls I headed to the Gryffindor common room. My brothers surrounded me as if I would run away at any moment.

Arriving at our destination they seemed to relax a little and as if I needed their permission they let me take my suitcase up to my room.

I had to prepare myself to repeat the entire conversation we had in front of the castle.

Returning to the common room I found the four of them sitting in one of the corners of the common room talking to each other in low voices so that no one else could hear their voices.

A padded chair seemed to have been prepared for me and positioned so that I would once again be surrounded by them, like a court interrogation at the ministry of magic. I would be the accused strapped to a chair while the Wizengamot heard my report and judged my guilt before sending me straight to Azkaban.

Completely against my will, I sat on the chair they prepared and began to watch their faces.

Fred was the one who took the lead in the conversation.

"We know what little Ronnie did wasn't right for you, but you need to understand that we only want the best for you." – he said, opening the conversation in a cautious tone.

George then continued.

"We didn't expect him to turn to mom, you need to understand that he acted impulsively and without thinking." – he said trying to justify what Ron had done.

I took a deep breath.

The conversation started differently than I had imagined, but I'm sure it wouldn't take long to take the expected direction.

"He didn't just send a letter to Mom. Ronald lied in the letter to make Kai look like a villain. He had the nerve to say Kai attacked him." – I said in an icy tone, looking directly at Ron.

Fred and George opened their mouths unable to speak for a few seconds until Percy took over the conversation.

"Ginny, you are our little sister. You need to understand that everything we do is to protect you. I'm completely against the attitude Ron took in lying to Mom, but you have to see his side of the conversation, he was trying to protect you in any way possible. He shouldn't break our parents' trust like that, I'm going to send a letter to mom saying that I'll keep an eye on him from now on so he doesn't make any more mistakes like that." – he said, wanting to try to save the situation.

Ron slumped in his chair wondering how much Percy would bother him from now on because of what he had done.

"But what did you see in that boy?" – asked Ron somewhat hesitantly.

My other three brothers were attentive to my answer.

I exhaled the air from my lungs slowly before inhaling sharply.

"What I didn't see in him is an easier question to answer. But since that's not what you asked me, let's look at the list." – I replied, thinking about adopting the same attitude I used with our parents.

"Kai is one of the best in the class, if it weren't for the fact that Snape hates him, Kai would be first in every subject. He taught Bridget and me his own method of making potions, he helped me more than once to study even subjects that I don't study with him. He works as a Potion Maker, has his own money. He's prettier than basically all the boys in the castle combined. You are aware of the rumors about his physique, even though he has been covered up in the castle this whole time, I can assure you that the rumors are all true." – I explained, provoking their reactions as they listened to what I said.

Ron was clearly irritated, he was losing the patience he had regained after the conversation at the castle door.

George and Fred were thoughtful, they were against the idea of me being in a relationship with Kai, but they didn't seem to be finding fault with what I said, considering they asked me what made me interested in Kai and not why I agreed to be his girlfriend even with the rumors of him sleeping with Gemma and his dating Bridget.

Percy was more analytical, so he went straight to the next step.

"But why did you accept the situation you are in?" – he asked a little indignantly.

I shrugged just like I did with our parents.

"It's not like he's hiding anything, I told our parents. I'm taking advantage of him right now, I knew what I was getting into and even Bridget was there the day he asked me to be his girlfriend. I have no justification for leaving the relationship because so far I have only benefited, whether academically, emotionally and even magically." – I replied.

""Magically?"" – asked Fred and George together.

I nodded.

"Did you guys hear the rumor about him doing Dans in potions class last school year?" – I asked them.

Percy shook his head, denying he knew anything about the matter.

Ron just stayed quiet.

George was the first to speak positively.

"Yes, Snape lectured him when he did that during one of the last classes of the previous semester." – he commented.

"Clear! I remember this case, they say he made a very inappropriate comment about the boy's Asian origins. Was it Kai?" – commented Fred uncertainly.

I nodded.

"I was there, I saw everything happen. But that's beside the point, what I want to say after this nonsensical round is that Kai knows how to do Dans and he did some with very miraculous effects and gave me one of each. One of them makes the magic core mature a little, it wasn't much, but I'm probably on the same level as you two. I just lack experience." – I said pointing to Fred and George.

The two were surprised.

Ron sulked at that moment.

"They're not much stronger than me." – he said with a pout.

I looked at him wondering if I should get into it at this point, but I gave up right away. It would be very bullying of me to remind him that I was more proficient in Expelliarmus than he was before ingesting Dan.

"What else did he give you, you said he gave you some Dans?" – Fred asked curiously.

"That's right little sister. Share with us what you got from the great Slytherin villain." – encouraged George.

The two seemed to be on the same page to the point of giving a high-five for George answering Fred's question.

These two have already left the seriousness of the matter aside.

"I blurted it out, I can't tell you. Soon these things will enter the market and you will be able to see for yourself what I'm talking about." – I replied, being as vague as possible.

Percy seemed worried about the notion that I was accepting gifts from Kai, from the look on his face I could imagine him thinking about his reputation being destroyed because his sister is a cheap bitch who sells herself for gifts.

"I bet he used something to control you in those Den." – said Ron, almost getting up from his chair and pointing at me in a frantic way.

The twins stopped for a moment with his nonsense and seemed to pay attention to the nonsense he had just said.

"I'm sure he used something to control his mind, a Den-shaped Confundus Charm, or worse something like the Imperius Curse. We need to take her straight to the infirmary and call Professor McGonagall!" – he began to deliberate out loud until he reached impossible conclusions.

Both the twins and Percy were worried at this point.

"It's Dans what he does and he only gave them to me after I slept with him." – I said, wanting to shock them and put an end to the conversation.

My brothers were paralyzed and I took this moment to go to my room before they could react.
