Millicent POV's
Looking out the window of the Hogwarts Express I started to think about what happened.
In just over a month my life changed completely.
After spending my first year at Hogwarts alone and then meeting Gemma in my second year, I never thought that a boy would 'arrive' in my third year to turn my world upside down in such a drastic way and in such a short time.
Firstly because he didn't do anything directly to me, the revolution in my life started with Gemma.
I knew what she did, I knew all the boys she slept with, but he wasn't part of them. It was an impulse from Gemma that created a tremor in my world, a new chapter in my life.
The confusion she caused by sleeping with Kai was something out of this world, I lost my breath just finding out about it. But when the boys confronted her in the common room and I couldn't stand still, I soon found myself defending her.
That was the real beginning of my relationship with her.
When the problems started to happen, she convinced me to look for him to help us find a solution.
That conversation was something I never even imagined, he simply talked about several things that I didn't understand and then showed that I had been blind my entire life. He was logically directing my thoughts to see something that had been happening in front of me for years of my life.
From then on I needed to have a very serious talk with my mother.
He made me think so much that his name slipped out of my mouth when I was having my moment with Gemma. Dissatisfied with this having happened, she dragged me to his room so I could have sex with him.
And by Merlin, what an experience. Although I would never leave Gemma for him, it was an experience.
On the same day he decided to solve all my problems.
I was very embarrassed having to admit in front of him that I would like to lose weight and be more feminine. I knew Gemma liked me the way I was, but I didn't like the way I looked at all. When we got back to the room she gave me a big lecture about changing who I am just for vanity which brought me to tears, I wanted to be perfect for her but she already thought I was perfect.
After much conversation, she accepted my decision.
I got a new lecture after I used two Fat Loss Dans. But that was her way of showing that she cared about me.
Just then the train started to slow down and Gemma woke up from the nap she had been taking on my arm.
"Are we there yet Milli?" – she asked, still drowsy.
"It seems so." – I replied.
She stretched and then pulled my face in for a kiss.
"We will solve all our problems." – she said confidently.
I smiled at her knowing that somehow we would make everything work out.
"If nothing works out, we have Kai's house to go to." – she completed in a mischevious tone.
I couldn't help but blush at that moment.
Picking up our little luggage, we headed towards the platform where our families were waiting for us.
She accompanied me until we saw our parents, in her case father and mother and in my case just my mother. I thought about the possibility that their parents were my in-laws and that made me blush again.
My mother was still looking for me in the crowd as I walked towards her.
I was very different from what she remembered.
When I arrived a few meters away from her, I was finally recognized.
"Mil, it's really you?" – She asked in an incredulous tone.
Not so much as I was, my mother is also overweight, a fact that made me not ingest all three Dans at once. I knew she didn't like the way she looked and that's why she was always dieting to maintain her weight.
"Hi Mom." – I greeted her in my normal tone.
At that moment I felt small in front of her, like aways, I placed my suitcase in front of me creating a barrier between us and looked at the floor.
I couldn't act normally around my mother, she was a strong woman who took control of the family for so many years, she was much more than I expected to achieve.
"How did you lose so much weight, my love? Haven't you been eating at Hogwarts? – she asked worriedly.
I shook my head.
"A friend gave me something to help me lose weight." – I said.
"Do you know how dangerous this is?" – she said worriedly.
I shook my head again.
"He works as a Potion Maker and will launch the product on the market, there are no side effects, you just need to ingest it in a bathtub of water and take a bath afterwards." – I tried to explain.
But my mother didn't want to listen to me.
"Let's go straight from here to St. Mungo's." – she said in an imperative tone.
When she got like that I knew there was no way to change her mind.
Leaving King's Cross, I accompanied her to one of the designated points for apparating.
Holding her arm, we soon reached the hidden entrance to the Hospital, an abandoned store with forgotten mannequins.
After we entered the hospital, she immediately began my hospitalization.
Minutes later I was sitting on the gurney wearing nothing but a robe as the Matrons examined me in every way they could think of.
After almost two hours of examination, they concluded that I was perfectly normal, something that left my mother very surprised.
"Mil, you have to look at it from my side, I was worried." – she said apologetically.
I just nodded, I just hope she hears me when we need to have our conversation.
We got home later than we should have because of this, which put my dad in a bad mood, almost as bad as when Aunt Selene visits.
Apparently my new appearance made him feel something.
"Why is the girl like that?" – he asked my mother irritably.
"She just lost weight you buffoon." – replied my mother in the same tone as him.
They never had much patience with each other.
He snorted and focused on the Daily Prophet in front of him.
How good it was to be home…
I went to my room, I needed to meditate to finish balancing my Yin and Yang.
The conversation with my mother would happen when Aunt Selene came to visit, I wanted to put all my cards on the table to have a better chance of convincing my mother. This move could very well be a bad move, given that both are still keeping up appearances after so many years.
I only understood how much Yang my body carried when even after three nights with Gemma my body had still not reached balance. The process was slow, but I was close to achieving my goal, very close.
Aunt Selene came to visit us just in passing on the 24th, bringing gifts, but I didn't want to take up their time that day. I continued to meditate in my room with nothing better to do.
Christmas morning arrived and I received a gift from my mother, a dress, something I would never wear before, but with my new appearance I even tried it on. Aunt Selene had left a pair of earrings, but I looked more like a boy than a girl and the dress and earrings didn't seem to fit me that well.
Finally, on the 28th, Aunt Selene came to spend the night here at the house, she needed to organize the Parkinson's New Year's party, so she always came on that day every year.
I knew that the two of them were having tea in the office late in the afternoon, so I went to the place, the door was open and they were sitting comfortably drinking tea.
I knocked on the door.
"Mil, what are you doing here?" – asked my mother.
"I need to talk to you two." – I said with a little difficulty.
