After saying goodbye to Kai and Bridget I went back to my room to get my things. My brothers were waiting for me to say goodbye to me, Percy formally shook my hand in farewell, the way he thought he was better than the others irritated me, but I controlled myself. Fred and George gave me tight hugs and wished me good luck, albeit a little reluctantly. When Ron's time came he gave me an annoying smile that I almost returned by punching him in the equally annoying face.
I got out of the common room before I do anything to him.
Maybe I should start calling him Ronald like Kai does, so he'll understand that I don't like what he's doing.
When I boarded the train I passed the cabin that Gemma and Millicent were using, but the way they behaved showed that they were going to enjoy the trip as a couple and I didn't want to hold back for them.
Finding out they were a couple was still a bit of a shock to me.
When Kai told me the event of their first visit I was a little confused. Until he explained to me the fact that they were dating each other. But I still know that Gemma had slept with Kai, which made me have some doubts about their visit last Sunday. That Kai confirmed later.
I found an empty cabin to sit down. But that didn't last long, soon Katie and Dean joined me in the cabin.
They were quiet initially, but after halfway through the trip they started looking at each other.
Katie played Quidditch with Fred and George and Dean was Ron's classmate. They both had a connection with one of my brothers and were curious about the fact that I was returning home alone.
There was also the fact that basically the entire castle was present when I received Howler.
"Ginny, are you really seeing that Slytherin?" – asked Katie Bell.
I looked at her deciding what to answer.
Kai isn't one of the most subtle people, I knew she was on his radar.
"Yes I am." – I replied succinctly.
Katie and Dean looked uncomfortable.
"But isn't he dating Storm?" – he asked.
"Yep." – I replied.
"But why do you accept this?" – Katie said confused.
I shrugged.
"He makes me feel good and isn't lying to me, not to mention he helps me study and wants me to have a chance to do whatever I want in my future." – I responded this time, elaborating a little more.
The two of them looked very confused in front of me.
They wanted to come up with arguments to convince me against my relationship with Kai, but they couldn't find anything more concrete after my words.
"He's a Slytherin. – said Dean Thomas.
"Nice argument, now I'm going to change my mind." – I said mocking him.
He was embarrassed.
Katie in turn started laughing.
"I don't know exactly what made you get into this relationship, but you're going to have to be prepared that when you get home, your mother was too angry to send a Howler." – Katie said, basically wishing me luck.
I smiled at her while Dean frowned.
When we arrived at the station I said goodbye to them and carried my suitcase off the train, I needed to take a deep breath before stepping onto the platform.
Not far from where I disembarked were my father and mother scowling at me.
I went to them and when I got close my mother started talking non-stop.
"Do you have any idea what you are doing getting involved with these types of people? Do you have any idea who this boy's parents were? Do you know how worried we are thinking about what he might do to you? We didn't raise you to do things like that. You're embarrassing your brothers at Hogwarts. Your father works so hard to provide a complete life for all of you and you are throwing it all away…" – her tone went from angry to angry and passed through disappointed depending on the phrase she was saying, but after a few minutes I stopped paying attention and just followed them as we walked.
My father, in turn, exuded disappointment and anger even without saying a word.
When we arrived at the designated area to apparate, I took my father's arm and we soon arrived home.
As soon as we entered the kitchen my parents turned to me and my mother finally finished her endless speech.
"So, are you done with this madness yet?" – asked my mother.
I took a deep breath.
"No." – I replied, trying not to let her intimidate me too much, but I failed in the end.
My mother huffed in anger.
"What are you waiting for then, hurry up and write the letter so we can get this over with." – she said excitedly.
"No." – I replied again, this time I couldn't look up at her.
"Are you going to wait to come back and end it in person?" – asked my father, also agitated.
"I don't intend to end my relationship with Kai." – I said, gathering all my courage.
"Have you lost your mind once and for all?" – my mother shouted.
I shook my head.
"He's good for me, he's not interfering with my studies, Merlin beard he is helping me with then and he tells me everything he does." – I said trying to explain myself.
"He's from Slytherin." – argued my mother.
I nodded in agreement with the obvious statement.
"He attacked your brother." – added my father.
"If you're talking about Ron, Kai didn't do anything to him. Ron went to Kai to get him to stay away from me and went straight back to the common room to complain in my ears." – I responded, explaining that Ron had lied.
"Your brother wouldn't lie to us." – said my mother defending him.
"Do you know what his nickname is at the castle?" – I asked, trying to maintain control.
"What does this have to do with what we're talking about?" – asked my father, confused.
I turned to him trying not to laugh.
"Ron is known around the castle as The Annoyance, he bothers the Slytherin students so much that he got this nickname and as he doesn't know how to choose when to do it, the other houses adopted the nickname because he's always bothering everyone." – I told them so they could understand a little more about Ron.
My mother was shocked.
My father tried to speak a few times, but soon he realized they were speechless.
"Percy is seen as annoying by everyone for following all the rules to the letter, it's almost unbelievable that he has a girlfriend, but I don't know how long that will last. Fred and George are well-liked by almost the entire castle, only the Slytherin people don't like them. But Ron, no one likes him in the castle, even the Gryffindor people only put up with him because of Fred and George." – I continued my explanation.
"Fred and George already talked to Kai and in the end they couldn't find a way to keep us apart. Even though they often try to play their most dangerous pranks on him." – I completed.
"Are you saying you're going to disobey us young lady?" – asked my mother, holding herself back so as not to explode.
"Yes." – I replied after taking a deep breath.
"We'll get you out of Hogwarts if you keep thinking about going through with this insanity." – she declared as if it were an ultimatum.
I took a deep breath.
"This would have worked if Hogwarts hadn't changed the age of those who attend, I'm an adult who didn't receive a magical education due to what happened in the war against You-Know-Who, but I'm still considered an adult anyway." – I said remembering her.
My mother took a false step back. My father supported her.
"Molly I think we need to tell her." – he said, looking for an alternative.
"But she's so young Arthur, she shouldn't know things like that." – my mother argued against.
"We need her to open her eyes." – said my father worried.
I tried to imagine what they meant by those words.
My father turned to me with a serious face.
"This Kai parents were… Deatheaters. He was raised by the Notts and Augustus was one too." – said my father in a worried tone.
I nodded.
"He told me this when we were still friends. They are both dead and he lives alone." – I said, explaining that I already knew.
"Do you know what that means? He's just tricking you." – said my desperate mother.
"He cut ties with his uncle and basically all of Slytherin hates him." – I explained.
"What about the rumors that he's seeing other girls?" – asked my father.
"Nothing I don't know." – I replied.
My parents looked at me as if I were from another world.
"How could you do something like that?" – asked my father.
"You can take it as something temporary, or you can take it as rebellion from my school days. But I don't intend to end it for the reasons you've listed so far. Just so you know, the information about Deatheates on the move that I sent home at the end of November came from him." – I said, trying to put an end to the conversation.
My parents didn't know how to deal with what I had said.
