Following Avni's brief revelation, the room was silent for a while, until Brenda, ever the perky one, decided to change the atmosphere.
"Now that everything has been resolved, how about we celebrate with a little wine?" She said and left the room. Avni shook her head and watched her leave the room to get the drink.
"Yes, a glass of champagne; my dearest daughter is getting engaged...Ms Ann, is dinner ready," Henry exclaimed. Avni elbowed his side for shouting, and the man simply laughed.
Soon the housekeeper Ms Ann walked in and informed them that she had set the table. They all walked into the dining room and took their seats.
After bringing the wine, Brenda set it down in front of her. She said, setting a napkin on her lap, "It feels so good to finally have dinner without the dreadful presence of some worms or I say leeches."
