Vera spun around in the dress, She had a satisfied smile on her face, but it vanished as soon as she remembered Louise. The boss would not let her show herself, even though she wanted to.
"I wonder when I will see Louise, I want a grand meeting," she said, her dress dangling in her hand as she pouted.
"You will meet him when the time is right," Ashely arranged the makeup kits on the table.
Vera let go of the gown, took a seat in front of the mirror, and Ashely started humming as she applied the makeup. Ashley has been her assistant for the longest because no one could put up with her severe behavior; they would all either quit or flee.
"I only hear you sing Louise's name, you do not talk about 'her,'" Ashely remarked while putting on the makeup.
Vera frowned, perplexed as to who Ashely was referring to; "who is the 'her'?" She looked up at Ashely.
