Chapter 22 - Positive?

After parting ways with Arthur, Liv reassured herself that it was the right decision. Initially expecting a sense of freedom, she found herself plagued by restlessness instead.

"Maybe I should just leave. It's time to move on from this place for good," she mused, contemplating her next steps. With the substantial sum of money Arthur had sent her, she had the means to make a fresh start elsewhere.

As she settled onto her bed at home, memories of her time with Arthur flooded her mind. Despite the unconventional start to their relationship, she couldn't deny the intense pleasure they had shared. It was a side of herself she had never explored before and she loved every second of it. She wasn't sure she could indulge herself in it with anyone else except Arthur. However, she acknowledged that their affair was destined to end, albeit sooner than expected. Though she would miss him, packing her bags was inevitable.

She knew she couldn't go back to work anymore.
