The next day, Liv received a call from Joanna, and her mind raced with possibilities of what she could want this time. Was she finally free?
She answered the call, her voice tinged with curiosity, "Hey, Joanna."
Joanna's voice trembled over the phone, urgency palpable in her tone. "Liv, please, you have to come to the coffee shop right now. I'm here and I need to talk to you urgently."
Liv furrowed her brows, feeling torn. "I'm swamped at the moment, Joanna. I'm not sure if I can make it."
"Come on, Liv. You're still here, and trust me, you're not nearly as busy as I am. Your life is as stagnant as a fucking ice cube," Joanna pleaded, her frustration evident. "Remember you said you needed to talk? Well, I'm free now, so get your ass over here and let's have that conversation!" With that, the call abruptly ended.
