Chapter 1 - Meeting Him

Livianna found herself in the heart of a bustling local market frozen in a moment of disbelief and shock. Her eyes widened in astonishment as she stood face to face with two individuals she had fervently hoped never to encounter again: her ex-boyfriend and her former best friend.

Her life had been a whirlwind of tumultuous experiences, and luck had rarely graced her, especially when it came to matters of the heart.

The ending of her romantic misfortunes had been the devastating loss of her three-year relationship to her best friend of over five years.

The wounds this betrayal had inflicted on her heart seemed to know no bounds, and as she gazed upon the two individuals who had shattered her world, she felt an overwhelming torrent of emotions surging through her.

The desire to flee from this painful reunion was overwhelming, yet she felt rooted to the spot, unable to tear herself away from the surreal scene unfolding before her eyes.

Her ex and her ex-best friend, now seemingly oblivious to her inner turmoil, began to approach her.

They drew near, sensing her distress, and her ex inquired, "Livianna, are you okay? Who would have imagined we'd cross paths here?"

Livianna's lips felt as though they were sealed shut, caught between the piercing gaze of her former boyfriend and the woman who had once been her closest confidante.

How could they have the audacity to approach her, rather than simply pretending they were strangers? This was brazen and it left her utterly speechless.

Her ex-best friend, Martha, inquired with a taunting grin, "So, how have you been dealing with everything? I know you're angry at us, but these things happen. I took your boyfriend because he was never truly yours to begin with. You should have damn well moved on by now, Liv, don't tell me you haven't."

Liv swallowed, her desire to slap Martha simmering just below the surface. But she refused to let that bitch get the best of her, so she flashed a smile and scanned the area for support. To her surprise, her eyes landed on a well-dressed man in an antique shop. He exuded handsomeness, standing tall and nearly perfect.

Turning back to Martha, Liv retorted, "Of course, I've moved on. Why should I keep giving a fuck about the two of you? Hell, it's all in the past, and I'm too damn gorgeous to not find a new man."

"A new man?" her ex quizzed, arching an eyebrow.

Liv nodded and pointed toward the stranger in the antique shop. "Yeah, that's my boyfriend. Isn't he a handsome devil? I was just startled to see you both, that's why I reacted. Don't get ahead of yourself, Martha. You both mean squat to me."

Martha crossed her arms, casting a provocative glance at Liv. "Oh, is that so? Then prove it. Introduce him to us."

Liv's heart raced as she considered how to navigate this challenge. She couldn't let Martha win, not in a million years. With a blink, she turned towards the charming man engrossed in conversation with an antique seller.

Taking a deep breath, she strode toward him, wearing a sultry smile, with Martha and her ex following out of sheer curiosity.

"Excuse me?" Liv murmured to catch his attention.

The stranger looked at her, a puzzled expression on his face as he realized she meant him. "Yes?"

In a bold move, she wrapped her arms around his neck, went up on her tiptoes, and kissed him passionately. The unexpected kiss left the stranger stunned, along with everyone present, including Martha and her ex.

When she pulled away, dismissing the stranger's shock, she turned her attention to Martha and her ex. "Yeah, meet my boyfriend. Not only is he a far superior partner, but he's also an expert in the bedroom. We've had countless mind-blowing sex, and we're deeply in love with each other."

The stranger, Arthur Regal, remained fixated on Liv as she spoke, his confusion evident in his gaze. He had no idea what was unfolding before him, so he simply stood there, perplexed.

Martha let out an exasperated sigh and seized the arm of Liv's ex before remarking, "Let's just go."

They turned away and departed, relieving Liv with a sigh. She shifted her gaze towards the baffled stranger and was struck by the intensity of his stare.

In that moment, she realized she had made a mistake.

"I'm truly sorry for what just happened. I really didn't want to do that, but I felt like I had to. I used you, and I apologize. Please don't take it to heart," she said apologetically, even though she suspected he was the kind of person who wouldn't be too bothered by an unexpected kiss from a stranger.

Arthur felt irritation at first, given that it was a public place, and who knew who might be watching? But when his eyes fell on her, he couldn't help but wonder who would ever want to let go of such an absolutely stunning woman.

She was well-endowed with generous breasts and a voluptuous, shapely rear that her trousers accentuated perfectly. Her hourglass figure was captivating, and any man would find it hard to avert his gaze. She probably has a bad attitude but it didn't matter to him.

"So, you seek my forgiveness, hmm?" He inquired, a mischievous idea taking root in his mind.

Liv nodded and replied, "Yes, I'm truly sorry."

Arthur sighed and retorted, "Well, I'm sorry too, but I can't just overlook this. What you did was impulsive and wrong. What if I had a girlfriend nearby or a wife? Do you think mere forgiveness would suffice?"

Liv dropped her gaze, comprehending the gravity of her actions.

"Oh, shit," she muttered under her breath, then looked back at him. "I'm so sorry. I'm really, really sorry."

Arthur shook his head, making a deliberate choice to test her resolve. "If mere apologies were enough, we wouldn't need laws and police, Miss. You're going to have to make it up to me by doing something I desire. You're after my forgiveness, aren't you?"

Liv felt perplexed as she gazed into his captivating green eyes. "I am, but what could you possibly want from me? I have nothing to offer."

"Oh, but you do. Didn't you say something about having had countless mind-blowing sex with me?" he retorted. "Well, let's turn your words into reality. Then, you can start earning my forgiveness."
