She wanted them to feel the brunt of her anger.
They were lucky she was not a character with superpowers, for she would have destroyed them with the powers she had.
Driving home, she parked in the garage and entered her apartment building.
The conversation she had had with Alastor came to her as she wondered who in this day and age would survive without social media.
While walking up the stairs to her apartment, she went through the Facebook accounts she could see with his name and none of them fit his description.
She went through the internet looking for any information on him and it came up blank.
When she reached her door, she opened it to get in and dump her purse on a counter by the wall.
"Home sweet home," she muttered walking to see herself in a mirror as she was shocked. Her disheveled hair made her look like a mess. She could see the eyebags under her eyes and was embarrassed he had seen her like this.
Stripping out of her clothes, she headed to the bathroom for a quick shower before exiting.
How was he going to meet her? He had said he would see her the next day but he did not know anything about her or have her number or her name or her address.
Unless he was a wizard with the power of automatically finding people, she did not know how she was going to be found.
The day went by without a hitch as she sat in front of her television set watching her favorite love show with popcorn and a smoothie.
She was going to drown her sorrows with this show.
"I'll show you, Jake," she gritted her teeth with an evil look on her face.

The next day she awoke to the sound of her doorbell ringing. Who would be looking for her in this part of town anyway, she thought to herself as she got out of bed in her large t-shirt and panties.
She groggily walked to the door to open it and found him standing outside in his suit looking even more handsome than the last time they had met.
"Alastor?!" she exclaimed in shock, immediately waking up as he pointed into her room. "Yeah, you can come in."
She stepped aside as he walked in to survey her apartment. It was cozy and messy and she noticed for she tried to sway him to follow her to the balcony.
"Let's just sit out here," she smiled nervously looking behind her shoulders at the mess which laid waiting for her.
"Nice place," he said looking over her balcony like he was going to jump out.
"Thanks," she smiled before shaking her head realizing his words. "Wait, is that sarcasm? Where you say one thing but mean another?"
"Have you gotten the venue, time and date?" he asked like a businessman, being straightforward and not wanting to waste anymore time on things that were not worth his time.
"I'll be back," she said, running into her room to get her phone and running back out while scrolling through her messages. "Holy shit!"
"What is it?"
"The wedding is tomorrow. How did I not know that?"
"Maybe next time you should go through your texts more often I'll pick you up at nine."
He started to walk into her apartment as she ran around him to stand in his way.
"Thank you so much for doing this with me," she clasped her hands around her phone. "I couldn't have done this without you."
"Any new rule I should know about? I don't like to show up unprepared."
"Don't you worry, it's the same old rules although I thought about it and I made a few tweaks."
"And the tweaks are?"
"Nothing major. I noticed you don't want to marry me and so I decided to leave that out the window but instead I want you to accompany me to the wedding instead."
"A wise choice," he said with an air of relief. "A contract marriage always leads to self destruction and more harm. You're smarter than I thought."
"Thank you," she didn't know if to take that as an insult or a complement.
"Now I am not a fan of people taking back their word so I hope you don't do anything funny that isn't in the script."
"You don't need to warn me, I know what I'm doing," she pouted as he gave one last look around before going around her to the door.
"I'll see you by morning. Have a pleasant day."
He opened her door and exited, closing it ever so lightly as she immediately cracked into heavy laughter.
Her evil schemes were all coming together.
Without wasting any more time, she ran into her room to get her gown ready so she would have something to wear for the party.

The awaited day for the wedding arrived and she was up by six o'clock getting ready for her ride to show up.
She did not want to dally and waste time when she knew Alastor would not be into that. He looked like a man of principles and she was not going to waste his time with her makeup.
She spent hours on her makeup alone and when she was done she donned her gown and her shoes which were perfect when she stood in front of the mirror.
Her doorbell rang as she picked up her purse, keys and phone to walk to the door.
She opened it and immediately had her breath taken away. How could a man be so beautiful?
He gave her a casual look with a short smile before pointing to the hallway.
"Shall we?"
"Y-yes," she replied with a stutter as she was still amazed by how he looked. No matter how many times he would appear before her she would still see him as a model with superpowers.
He looked like the kind of character a company would use to make Superman.
