Stacy loved drama and when she found her friend being in one it made her scream her head out as she wanted so badly to be involved with it.
She wanted to know what was going on and loved to be on the front row seat of the drama.
"Come on, tell me, is he cute?" she asked while Janet fumbled with the key before opening the door.
"Please don't start," Janet sighed walking into the apartment with her friends following in. They all entered the kitchen to drop their things and found a lot of plates in the sink with lots of pizza boxes in the trash can.
"Jesus, when did you last leave this place?" Reina noted after looking around in disgust.
"Today," Janet sighed. "I can't go anywhere without the media following me around. I had to wear a mask and look like Jason bourne so no one would notice me. It worked out well because I didn't have lots of people following me."
Stacy who was on her phone typing suddenly laughed which had her friends starting at her.
"What's making you laugh?" Reina asked.
"These internet guys made up a group on Facebook and other social media called baewatch," Stacy explained. "Basically it was created last week when Janet over here said she was getting married to the rich tycoon.
"So now everyone creates various groups and their main aim is to find you and stan with you. I support you in finding yourself a rich man Janet but what I don't support is you not telling your closest friends who he is and how you two met."
Janet had not gone through her socials since that day and had turned off her data connection and WiFi connection to live a life free from anyone trying to get in touch with her through those mediums.
Only those closest to her had her phone number which they used to call her and communicate with her.
She could feel how much harder it was being a celebrity. One day she was not known by anyone and the next her socials were blowing up with groups being created in her favor.
She looked at her friends who were eager to hear the news and shook her head.
"Look, as much as I really appreciate you guys being there for me when I needed the help and the break, I am telling you that there is nothing going on between me and that man."
"Oh and the sky is not blue," Stacy said with a chuckle.
"Stacy," Reina sighed. "The sky seriously is not blue. It's actually transparent or some people in the scientific community could say that it is translucent but light scatters on the…"
"Hey," Stacy said in a sharp tone. "It was a joke and you being scientific right now is not helping."
"I'm sorry."
"Look Janet, I totally get your pain and I sympathize with you a hundred percent."
Janet was happy about this as she breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh thank you guys so much."
"You're welcome," Reina smiled. "So when do we get to meet him? We just want to know what kind of man he is."
Janet, not being able to hold back her anger, pointed to the door for her friends to leave.
They all had a grunting match before the two women left the apartment with Janet giving off a sigh of relief that she was finally alone.
She knew she would not hear the last of this and she was ready for whatever would come next.
Days passed and her friends with her mother kept calling to ask about the man as she kept blowing them off.
It got so bad she started to avoid her friends' calls and whenever someone would knock on the door, she would get paranoid because she would think the media had found out about her abode.
In all of the chaos ensuing, she did not have the courage to tell anyone the real truth of how it had started.
She could see their faces of disappointment when she would tell them that she had asked Alastor to be her husband just to not appear pathetic to her ex boyfriend.
It would be a terrible thing and she was sure they would not see her the same way again.
After her friends were gone, she cleaned up the kitchen, had her bath and went straight to bed because she was not hungry.

"No!" Janet yelled, waking up drenched in sweat. She shivered a bit while touching her neck to make sure she was okay.
Looking at her clock on the wall she could see it was two in the morning.
"It was just a nightmare," she said, getting out of bed as she walked to the kitchen to drink water.
She started to think back on the dream she had had which had woken her up.
She had been in a forest with lots of owls and crickets being noisy around. The moon in the sky was beautiful in its blue color until it started to turn red.
This scared her as she turned to run only to see Alastor with his arms folded before her.
"I told you not to do it," he said as she slowly backed away from him apologizing but she found the top of his head to swell from something trying to protrude from its sides.
Suddenly two horns grew out of it, not stopping until it was at least ten inches long with flames on its tips.
"Alastor?" she called in shock as he moved towards her faster than she could react, appearing in front of her in seconds.
This was what had woken her up and she breathed in deeply as she drank water from the cup.
This had to be the worst nightmare ever, she thought to herself before dropping the cup.
When she was done, she went back to bed to sleep, praying to have a better night.
