"No" Veda got in between the two. "Stop, in the kitchen now" she pushed Lace towards the kitchen. "You make some tea" she pointed at Marv, who rolled her eyes. "And you, sit down on the stool"
Marv went to put on the kettle while admiring the bright kitchen, with its bright oak floors with oak island stools to match. Windows opened to a beautiful garden and pool, a windowsill garden sat fresh with herbs and Marv could imagine looking out into the garden while washing dishes but she shook the thought away. And turned back to Lace, who sat on a chair with Veda standing over her, placing some sort of ointment onto her forehead.
The kettle clicked and Marv turned to Veda, who pointed to the cupboard, and Marv began to set up tea. Once everything was done, Lace turned towards her and the scripture was done, so was Lace's temper. Marv wrapped around the cup of herbal tea as she smiled to herself, loving the heat, which only made Veda smile too at the sight.
