Veda and Marv kept walking down the hallway until they came to a massive door with stained glass windows and intricate wooden details. Marv placed her hand against it, picturing her future just beyond these doors. She felt Arioch's breath on the back of her neck, luring her in, she could almost feel him.
"almost there," He growled into her ear and she visibly shivered.
Veda saw it and reached out to touch her. "Are you ok?" she asked.
Marv turned around to face her. "Yeah, can you wait here?" she asked, but Veda was hesitant. "Please" she pleaded, which made Veda nod her head.
