Marv and Veda sat in her car, watching the clouds pass over the mountain. Marv knew that she was wasting time here, talking, but she needed to get Veda off her back so she could continue up the mountain and hopefully find freedom. And she knew Veda wouldn't like her mentor for freeness. The woman made Marv uncomfortable; it was she saw every little piece of her and she hated it.
Marv watched the vampire in that ridiculous wig, giant sunglasses that covered those sharp hooded eyes and massive hat on her head, drumming her fingers to a beat that only she could hear. "Can you take off all of that? You look ridiculous," Marv commented, shifting in her seat and crossing her arms.
