Spring Cottage was one of the best places to live in West Wing. It was an estate that only those real richies could afford.
The lowest tier apartment there cost millions. It was also collectively owned by the Briggs family who had a major amount of shares in it.
Two vehicles: an Aston Martin Valkyrie and a Bentley Bentayga.
Drew and Boss Jay got down from their vehicle, observing the huge estate gate.
"You are not allowed to pass through the gate unless you have an ownership permit" the guard stationed at the gate spoke respectfully to the duo.
Judging by their expensive cars, he instantly knew they were people he could not afford to offend.
"We don't have an ownership permit, but we want to buy some houses here" Boss Jay replied.
"Wait a sec, let me call the estate admin" the guard brought out his walkie talkie, informing the estate admin of some potential clients.
"Somebody will pick you guys up in ten minutes time"
Drew shrugged, leaning against the bonnet of his car.
At that moment, a Mercedes Maybach S rolled into the premises, horning loudly since Drew's car just happened to be blocking the road.
"Get out of the road you fool!" a loud voice snarled as the wind screen rolled down.
"Huh? Drew?" the maybach owner gasped.
Glancing over curiously, Drew's eyes gleamed coldly.
"Andre? it's you huh?"
Andre grinned when he saw his former classmate. Scanning his clothes, he laughed.
"It's been years since i last saw you. Looks like you've done an impressive make over"
Andre was Drew's former class mate in high school. At that time, his father was a restaurant owner and living well off, thus Andre was one of the famous kids at that time.
However, he wasn't that smart and ever since Drew joined the school, he stole the spotlight due to his academic brilliance.
Out of spite, Andre began bullying him, making life a living hell for him.
"Hey! isn't car wash staffs prohibited from entering the estate?" Andre scowled at the guard.
"What do you mean sir?"
"What do i mean? is your brain made of shit? what i mean is that this guy is a car wash man and shouldn't be seen near the premises of the estate. What if he steals something?"
Drew smirked. Looks like Andre was still the same as ever.
"Sir, he is a client. You have no right to tell me whether to chase a client or not!" the guard refuted righteously.
"Hah! do you know i can sack you huh?! how dare you talk back at me?!"
Saying this, Drew whipped out a gold card, flashing it proudly like a boxer who just won an heavyweight.
When the guard saw the gold card, his face went ashen.
Spring cottage had three types of customer tiers. Silver tier, Gold tier and Diamond tier!
Gold tier customers were those who owned assets reaching a hundred million dollars!
They were existences a puny gate guard like him dared not offend.
"S-Sorry sir!" the guard fell on his knees, his back drenched with sweat.
Andre smiled smugly when he saw this. Hah! he loved it when people venerated him like this.
"Hmph. If you know you want to keep your job, throw this pig out of this place" he instructed.
The guard flashed Drew an apologetic smile. Just as he made to grab him, Drew snorted.
"Don't get so hasty. Who told you i am a car wash man?"
Andre gwafffed.
"If you are not, what are you then? a mechanic? ha! Don't tell me you are the owner of that car?"
Drew's brows creased.
"Why can't i?"
"Hmph. Who doesn't know that your mother is a pathetic widow who sells chickens to survive. How can a pauper like you afford such an expensive car?" Andre sniggered.
Just as Drew made to reply, a chubby man with with a pot belly arrived panting.
He looked like he had just ran a marathon.
"Sir Agent" the guard who seemed to be in a tight spot sighed in relief.
His saviour was here!
"Who wants to buy a property?!" Simone glanced around.
After he received a call that two men who rode in expensive cars came to buy a property, he swiftly hurried over before his other co-workers did.
"Me" Drew replied.
"Really?! this way sir!" Simone's eyes lit up when he saw Drew's Aston Martin.
"Wait!" Andre cried out.
"You can't be serious to believe this guy right? let me tell you something.. i have known this guy ever since we were kids. He's no son of a big shot. His mother is a local poultry farmer!"
Boss Jay frowned. This guy was starting to get annoying.
However, Andre was far from done.
"Don't be deceived by that car. He's just a mechanic who likes flexing on customers cars"
Simone fell into contemplation. Fearing that he would not take his words serious. Smirking confidently, Andre whipped out his gold ownership card.
When Simone saw this, his gaze became respectful. Turning towards Drew, all traces of enthusiasm disappeared.
His tone became unfriendly.
"You heard him, how dare you lie to me and scam me?!"
Drew smiled wryly. Looks like no matter what, only the rich were at the right.
It was obvious that he was the victim, however nobody sided with him, for fear of offending the rich Andre.
"When did i ever want to scam you. Stop being unreasonable here. Is that how you treat customers? maybe i should just drop my honest review on your company website"
Simone became nervous. If Drew really dropped a bad rating, it would affect the reputation of the estate. And if the matter got traced to him, he would definitely lose his job.
He had to compromise!
"Actually, the estate has a policy. Every property owner must own a personal asset worth over hundred thousand dollars"
"Really? then this my car here cost over two million. Why are you still making things difficult for me?"
"Hmm" Simone scratched his beards.
"You have to provide some proof that the car belongs to you"
Drew snorted in annoyance. He got into the car and brought out the car documents, as well as his driver license.
"They are the real deal" Simone's cheeks flushed as he told Andre.
"Impossible! how can you afford such a car?! i don't get it!!" Andre gawked at Drew in astonishment.
One must know that the vehicle his father used was just at one million dollars.
"Hm? why can't i?"
Watching the smugness of Drew's face, Andre gnashed his teeth.
"Hmph! you managed to buy that car after winning a gamble right?"
Drew was shellshocked.
This guy's too obstinate!
Mistaking his silence, Andre grinned triumphantly. So what if you won a big gamble,
You can't be so lucky next time!
Uninterested, Andre got into his car and drove into the estate.
After he left, Simone swiftly apologized.
"It's okay" Drew didn't think too much about it.
Getting into his car with Simone, he started the ignition, driving into the estate, while Boss Jay followed from behind.
