Chereads / The Decillionaire Heir / Chapter 27 - Chapter 027

Chapter 27 - Chapter 027

"I don't think that necessary. I can buy a car myself" Drew swiftly rejected.

"Uhm.. okay" Julian didn't bother forcing Drew.

However, he felt awkward after getting rejected so blankly, and worst in a public place.

And so Drew completely the transaction, transferring 2.4 million.

-[You have received +2400 deci points]

Drew smiled when he saw the new notification.

Grabbing the keys, he shoved it into his pocket and smiled at Julian.

"I was rude just now. It's just that, i hate owning people favours. I hope you don't mind?"

Julian waved his hands dismissively.

"Not at all. Come, let me show you the garage so you can get your car"

After the trio left, everybody in the hall felt their tightened breaths easen up. Just now, it felt like they were carrying a huge weight on their chest.

"Let's go!" the chubby lady turned tail, with her previously arrogant sugar boy trailing after her.

After they left, the female staff who intentionally made things difficult for Drew began sobbing with regret.

She knew for sure that what awaited her next was a sack letter.

"So how are you related to this place? and why do those staffs treat you respectfully? do you know the owner perhaps?" Drew asked Julian as they made their way towards the garage.

"Actually, this car dealership is owned by my family. The previous manager died so i was sent here to act as a temporal manager until a new one is elected" Julian explained.

"Why are you here? just a few days ago you were at Orbit Garden?"

"I came to West Wing for some business related matter" Drew lied with a straight face.

"That means you won't be leaving West Wing anytime soon?" Julian's eyes lit up expectantly.

"Yeah"

They finally arrived at the garage. Drew war stunned at the multitude of vehicles before him.

The lowest cost no lower than 300k and the highest, in the millions!

Just how much would they be all together?

One billion?

Supposing he bought them, he didn't dare imagine how many deci points he'd rake.

After testing the Aston Martin and making sure that all gears were working, Drew drove it out.

However, it was forced to come to an halt because a strange was playing out at the entrance of the Car dealership.

Two large trucks were parked in a corner as ten plur thuggish looking men tried forcing their way in.

However, one must commend the security guards who were no push overs as they managed to resist the thuggish men.

"They are Mandigo's men!" Boss Jay who sat besides Drew noticed the tattoos on the gangsters bodies.

"Oh? they moved quite quick" Drew stroke his chin.

Julian frowned. These group of degenerates were messing around on the private property of the Wayne family.

If he allowed them to act as they liked, it would stain the reputation of his Wayne family.

"Johan, explain the fuck what's happening?" he put a call across to Johan, the vice manager.

Inside a luxurious office, Johan wiped the beads of sweat on his temples as he watched the scene playing out at the entrance on a huge screen.

"I can see it sir" he replied to Julian's question.

"That's good. So why haven't you step out to salvage the situation huh?" Julian's rebuking voice boomed from the other end.

Johan felt like crying. He was just a regular human. How could he dare face off against a group of bloodthirsty gangsters?

Except he was tired of living and had a death wish.

"B-But they are gangsters!" he whined.

"So what? don't tell me you are so scared of those slightly vicious cockroaches. I don't believe they would dare lay a finger on someone who works for the Wayne family.. Or is it that you fear a bunch of bandits, more than my Wayne family?"

"Absolutely not!" Johan dropped the telephone, silently saying his last prayer.

At the gates, the group of Mandigo's lackeys began to get increasingly ferocious, thus giving the security guards a hard time.

"Do you know who we are huh? how dare you disrespect we from the Purple Scythe gang?!" one of the lackey's snarled, throwing a punch at a security guard.

Instantly, the security guards froze up when they heard these words.

Purple Scythe gang?!

Although they were a relatively new criminal gang, they had managed to annex all the smaller gangs in Silver Bee Quarters.

This spoke volumes of their capabilities.

"And so what? how dare some puny rats dare cause a ruckus on the private property of the Wayne family?" a voice scoffed.

Johan took brisk but confident steps towards the entrance.

"Leave now, or don't make me!" he warned sternly.

The gangsters fell silent. The Wayne family were one the top families in Delta city.

It was a behemoth that they didn't dare offend.

Just as they were thinking of retreating, the door of one of the trucks swung open slowly, revealing a hugely built man with bushy beard, a gold chain on his neck and dark shades.

He wore a sleeveless vest, revealing the many colorful tattoos on his arm.

"You must be Don Mandigo" Johan eyed the newcomer cautiously.

He had heard a lot of rumors concerning the latter's ruthlessness.

"Yes i am" Mandigo brought out a fat cigar, litting it up.

"You of all people should be aware of whose grounds you stand on" Johan warned.

"The Wayne's yes. But have you forgotten that Silver Bee district is my turf. Even if it is the governor, he has to play by my rules" Mandigo spread his arms apart, as if to exert his dominance.

Johan frowned.

"What do you want by bringing your boys here and disturbing the peace of customers" he swiftly changed tactic, since he realized that Mandigo was a lawless ruffian.

"I came to take somebody away. He dared to lay a finger on my son and disfigure his face" just recalling the current state of his son almost had Mandigo's rage rising to the top.

Johan was shocked.

"Who is so daring?"

"Me!"

Like a ghost, a figure suddenly appeared besides Johan, staring Mandigo right in the eye.

"Who are you?" Mandigo frowned.

Even he found it hard to track Drew's sudden speed.

"Weren't you talking about me just now? i am the gutsy guy who dared lay a finger on your son" Drew replied casually.

He had just casted 'ANALYSIS' on Mandigo and guaged his strength.

He was just at the fifth level.

"What is that guy doing?!" Julian panicked when he saw Drew confronting Mandigo.

Just as he wanted to leave the car, Boss Jay pulled him back.

"What?! why are you stopping me? do you want to see him killed?!"

"Don't interfere"

Julian was exasperated.

"No! you are making the wrong choice here! Drew isn't an excellent fighter! he will only get himself killed!"

Julian didn't dare believe Drew was Mandingo's match. One was a gang boss, while the other was an aristocratic medicinal prodigy.

For Drew to achieve much in the field of medicine at such a young age, Julian attributed it all to Drew focusing all his time and energy in the study of medicine.

But no matter how Julian spoke, Boss Jay never withdrew his grip.

His eyes blazed with eagerness as he watched Drew and Mandigo's face off.

During his youth, he would usually hear amazing tales of how the first Grand Patriarch was unmatched. He would always regret why he wasn't born at that time.

But right now, he was opportuned to witness the new Grand Patriarch duck it out with an opponent.

He couldn't wait to find out the outcome!
