While the steam train sped along the railway tracks towards the town of Plön, within it Lili sat in between Willy and the Kaiser, while Waldemar sat upon her lap and Heinrich along with his wife sat opposite of her and all listened with interest as Lili spoke to them.
With great seriousness the six year old little her tried to sound serious as she spoke more broadly on her plan for the Welfare Lottery. She emphasized the need to patent the whole thing, along with the need to work with a two ticket system. A system where there would be two copies of all lottery tickets, one for the player and another that was to be archived and stored safely away in Berlin for later review.
They would also need to work with a trustworthy printing factory that specialized in designing anti-counterfeiting markers. Lottery tickets after all were physical things here and would need to be shipped out manually, so anti cheating and corruption methods needed to be placed upon them. Also lottery sales would be stopped a day prior to the revealing of the numbers. And during that time a large team of well paid people would be put into action going through all the tickets and seeing who won and how much.
From there the tickets would be sent back to their original places of purchase. Then when everything was reviewed the results and numbers would be revealed to the public. Players who won could then go to the shops from where they had bought the lottery tickets from and get their checks there which they could redeem at the bank.
Lastly Lili stressed the need for advertising with slogans like. "With but a single ticket you cannot only save the life of a child, but change your own life as well. So what are you waiting for, come and buy a lottery ticket from Lilis Welfare Lottery and together we can make Germany a better place."
Of course this would then include pictures of poor little children in ragged clothes. She would try and pull at peoples heartstrings to not only make the greedy players play and feel good about themselves as they played, but she would sort of blackmail normal moral people into playing as well out of a sense of doing the right thing. Well it honestly wasn't a lie as the money spent on the lottery would in fact help Germany and for example children in need.
With this Lili felt quite pleased, although there was one last thing that she stressed and that was not to waste all their earnings as she did have plans for their earnings in the future then. She most definitely didn't plan to stop at just a single business idea worth a few hundreds or so millions yearly. No, she needed more and to do more she needed more money.
Hearing her plans all seemed to be in agreement, although the Kaiser and Heinrich still seemed to be interested in hammering out the details. After all Lili had set Heinrich's portion of the winnings at only 10 percent, while Kaiser Wilhelm had 30. Willy did have the largest of portions here, but he was still young, he lacked experience and funds so he merely sat at the side watching and learning, while Irene did much the same.
Sadly in this time period women were not really seen as business people and their education mainly consisted of things related to house work, like sewing and cooking. So women kept out of politics especially in Germany it seemed where women were not even allowed to vote.
However this Lili didn't really mind, after all seeing as how things had turned out in her first life it was obvious that what people did back then didn't work. Especially the electing of that woman for president was not a good idea as the people within the Middle East really didn't seem to respect that. Especially when she started acting tough before them. Oh that really pissed off the Middle East and it merely escalated things and then eventually led to that war in the end.
Sure it wasn't all the madam Presidents fault, after all others had acted a lot tougher towards the enemies of the United States in the past. But still she most definitely didn't fix things or really make anything better. And this just proved to her that women in politics was definitely not the answer to anything.
This was especially proven true in her mind by the fact that here in a time when women didn't vote, most women still got to stay at home, had shorter work hours than men and easier jobs overall. Basically life for women here was easy and she as a girl really would not mind it staying that way.
In the modern world a woman being able to stay at home taking care of the house and children was merely a dream that some women and men had, but hardly anyone could afford it. So in some senses things here were a lot better compared to the future, after all what kind of a normal woman really wanted to wake up early in the morning and go work in some meaningless corporate job? Especially when instead a woman could stay home and take care of some cute little children of her own.
Well she being a girl herself in this life certainly didn't feel any need to vote or any desire to work at a desk in some office or in the army. If anything then she quite liked the idea of staying home and living the simple life. Which was also partially the reason why she allocated the creation of the Lottery business to the men.
Like this she could just stay home and from there give the men advice on what to do and make them work out the details as she rolled around in bed all day or simply did whatever she wanted to do. Speaking of which she was feeling kind of sleepy as was little Waldemar who was already yawning within her arms.
So as she found herself sitting there between Willy and Kaiser Wilhelm she decided to use the bigger of the two as her pillow. Without any shame or much thought she just snuggled right up to the Kaiser and placed her head against his shorter left arm.
Seeing it all eyes in the train carriage turned to look at Lili who already held her eyes closed as did the little Waldemar. For a few seconds silence rained, the Kaiser was completely still until suddenly he lifted up his left arm and used it to pull Lili closer right up against his chest. Then he put his left arm on Lilis shoulder and hugged her lightly letting her and little Waldemar use him as their shared pillow.
Willy and Heinrich seemed a bit stunned seeing it, to which the Kaiser merely responded by using his right hand to show them to be quiet as he said.
"Shush, just let them sleep. Besides how could I deny our generous little business partner this simple service when she has already given us so much, hahaha."
This Lili didn't hear as she was already fast asleep by that time. Although soon she was already drooling on the Kaiser's military uniform, which Irene was quick to wipe away with a handkerchief.
However as she slept her surroundings suddenly seemed to become quite clear to her. Her magic had partially activated and she could see the little Waldemar and Kaiser with it.
The Kaiser had clear spots of damage on his left arm and even his head, while Waldemar seemed to be overall quite healthy except for his eyes. From what she could see it seemed like the Kaiser had nerve damage and something else in his left arm, while there was some kind of a small blockage in his head. Waldemar merely seemed like a healthy young child with weak eyes possibly meaning that he would need glasses in the future.
Of course all of this she was more than happy to fix, maybe she could even make the Kaiser's arm grow to a normal size, but there was also something else within them both. Just like Willy had his golden core of light in the center of his being, Kaiser Wilhelm also seemed to have a core there.
Although his core was extremely small and at the verge of disappearing, but it was still there and it was a strong red colour. Waldemar on the other hand had a strong core of Purple light.
Seeing them both Lili felt it to be quite odd as she hadn't seen anything within Queen Victoria. Throughout the past week she had been secretly healing the Queen every once in a while, but she never saw any core of light within her.
However now that she saw Kaiser Wilhelms fading core she could guess what had happened. Queen Victoria's core had probably simply just faded away through time, thanks to the Queen never knowing of her core and so she never used it. The cores of light seemed to be like muscles in the sense that the more you use them the stronger they get, but if you don't use them then they will wither away and just disappear.
Focusing on the Kaiser's red core Lili tried to make it connect with the man and awaken it, but just like with Willy she failed. So instead she focused on fixing up the Kaiser's arm, his head and his somewhat damaged and aging body.
Starting from the head she little by little made her way downwards. Using her magic like a small stream of pure white liquid she made it pour down from his head and slowly flowed downwards healing everything within its path. To do this required quite a lot from her core of light, but having rested and eaten as well as she had this past week she most definitely had the energy to do it and so she did.
To the outside viewer they could only see Lili frowning a little within her sleep as her magic sneakily traveled from her head along her silky smooth blonde hair and against the Kaiser's uniform from where it seeped through it and within the Kaiser.
Although while Irene sat quietly with a book in her hand next to her husband, she did from time to time take glances at her son and Lili, and that's when she noticed the faint glow. At first it merely seemed like one part of Lilis beautiful blonde hair was a bit lighter in coloured compared to the rest, but after looking a few times she started to notice movement within Lilis hair. It was almost like small waves of white light were moving slowly towards the Kaiser.
Seeing it she froze not understanding what it was that she was seeing. She thought herself to be hallucinating for the Kaiser nor anyone else seemed to notice anything.
Unsure of what to do or if she should even say anything, she just continued to watch until suddenly the waves of light seemingly seeped back within Lili and it ended. But then it happened again, but this time there was an extremely faint light within Lilis hands that were gently holding onto Waldemar.
For a moment she felt concerned until suddenly a bright smile spread upon Waldemars face. She wasn't sure, but it seemed that the light was making her little Waldemar feel happy and there she then started noticing the changes then.
Slowly Waldemars blonde eyebrows started becoming thicker, a stronger blonde colour came to them and then the same started to slowly happen to his hair as well. Even his skin, little nose and everything were slowly becoming more clearer, more smoother and beautiful.
Irene could hardly believe it, but her little Waldemar was truly becoming even cuter there right before her very own eyes. And it wasn't just him, but looking at the Kaiser she could see that he also looked a bit different now. The change was not extreme and not something that you would notice at a quick glance, but as a woman she could see it and it was amazing.
Totally unaware of this Lili merely now focused on the little Waldemar sleeping on her lap. For while she might have failed with the Kaiser's red core, Waldemar was different.
Immediately as she touched his Purple core it reacted and allowed her to mold it according to her will and move it. So with great care she moved it upon Waldemars heart covering the heart totally with the purple core and from there she pulled purplish strings of magical light. Strings that she moved along Waldemars blood veins, infusing the veins with the purple strings making them into one all up and into his brain and the so-called third eye hidden within there.
After that Waldemar seemed to start to unconsciously awaken into his own power and quickly hundreds of threads were drawn and soon his entire body was one with his Purple core. And within his core she could see what looked like four elements floating around in a circle, Earth, water, air, and fire. All seemed to be in harmony there within the oneness of the Purple core of magical arcane energy.
Seeing it Lili couldn't almost believe it, just how was it possible? What did it all even mean? Waldemar seemed so strong, Willy also held a great golden red core of power within himself and even the Kaiser had some hidden strength within him. All of them also held power within the force, although their third eyes were still dormant as were their magical powers, but once awoken she could not even imagine how strong all of them might become.
Honestly it all seemed so unreal, but so scary as well. After all she had almost been killed by magic multiple times within her past life and her father even struck her down with some form of holy magic, so she knew of it's potential destructive power. She also knew of the potential corruptive power of magic as well.
Magic was powerful, but it was also extremely dangerous and if she was to bring it to this world in force then she would need to control it. But then again how was it that there was magic within the German royal family of this world and yet there were no mentions of magic within the history books, either than the witch hunts and the ancient past where there was some talk of dragons, wizards, God's, Jesus walking on water and such things?
Now so many thoughts plagued her mind and she knew not what to do, except maybe she could create a school of magic or a temple. Yes that was it right. She just needed to create a spiritual temple of learning that would hold all the possible knowledge concerning the magical arts. There she would teach Waldemar and others not only to control their emotions so they can resist the corruptive nature of magic itself, but there they could learn to use magic with other magic and force users, within a safe and controlled environment.
After all within her past she had already created something similar. Back then they called themselves the Chosen, she even had her seven hands who were dark force users and then she was their master. Well she would just do that again but call it something nicer like how her father had done it back then.
Then she suddenly felt a little nudge to her side and someone's warm breath hit her ear as Willy called out to her saying.
"Wake up sleepy head. We have arrived in Plön, now come on let's go meet the rest of the family already."
