Chapter 59 - Chapter 59 Confession to God.

In the year 1864 the Kingdom of Prussia and the Empire of Austria fought against the Kingdom of Denmark in what was to be known as the Second Schleswig war. And ever since then the province of Schleswig-Holstein has been under German rule. This in turn forever damaged the relations between Germany and Denmark. The war also angered many others and it was only thanks to Queen Victoria that no other countries intervened and Germany was given a clean victory within that war.

Also this war really pissed off the King of Denmark not only for the obvious reasons, but for a more personal reason for the Danish King himself. For within this province was the small town of Plön. A town with less than 5000 inhabitants living in it which just barely made it even qualify as a town instead of a village. And though the small town at first glance might have seemed quite insignificant, it in fact wasn't for within that town was a castle of the Danish King himself.

And this castle was just no ordinary castle, but the Danish Kings personal summer retreat in the summers, or well some summers at least. Sure the king had others, but to add insult to injury the Germans had turned the Danish king's beloved summer home into a military school. A school where the Germans quite enthusiastically now taught the students about Prussia's glorious victory over Denmark and the following annexation of Schleswig-Holstein in that specific war, which the Danish King obviously didn't appreciate. Also that castle was the school which Willy and all his younger brothers attended from the ages of six onwards.

Plus to add even more fuel to the Danish King's rage there was the fact that the town is surrounded by breathtaking sceneries, lakes on all sides, the land is also extremely fertile with beautiful fields of grain and pastures all around and the sea is only a little over 20 kilometres away. Basically the little town is a perfect place to spend the summer at, which the Danish King can't do now.

But more importantly to her was that this absolutely gorgeous town where the winters hardly ever get cold and the snow hardly ever falls is now her new home. Sure she wasn't going to attend the school that was the Danish king's old castle, but she for sure was going to live in a freaking manor that was basically right next to a massive lake.

The manor in itself is not overly fancy but still a comfy two story brick building with a huge back garden, a bit smaller of a front garden that had a beautiful metallic gate leading in and out of the place. Also the manor has a long spiky metallic fence for defence going all the way around the gardens covering a huge area, but its mostly hidden behind bushes and trees so it's hardly even noticeable.

And on the property there is even a small collection of different sized wooden buildings for the guests and the servants that live there. After all they do have maids, gardeners, cooks, a butler, guards and what not. And all the servants of course also have families that live within that small collection of buildings that basically is like a small neighbourhood.

Willy's military school is also quite close, just about 400 meters away on a hill in the distance. You can even see it from the manor, its standing there atop that hill overlooking the lakes and lands all around it so majestically.

However to Lili what was more important now was not only accommodating herself within this new environment of hers, but the three Baumer girls as she liked to call them since mother Mathilda was basically just a 19 year old girl. Although this is where she quickly ran into some problems with Willy's Mom the Queen of Germany.

Augusta age 33 with long straight blonde hair, light blue eyes and big tits was quite a sight to behold. The woman was quiet, passive and a humble type of an person that was supposed to be easy to get along with. But for understandable reasons she immediately did take offence to the sight of her walking hand in hand with Willy the Crown Prince of Germany.

Luckily Willy's younger brothers at least didn't seem to care too much about this, they merely looked at her with some contempt as was to be expected of rich spoiled brats. However when Willy started explaining to the Queen who Lili was and then requested for Lili to be housed within the same room as he, that's when trouble started.

Lili herself even went off and made sure to request that her three homeless girl friends be given a room within the manor as well, since she didn't want to be separated from them. However after further thinking on this matter it was quite understandable that the Queen was absolutely outraged by it all.

And not only the Queen, but Willy's younger brothers and even the servants of the manor were quite taken aback by what they heard.

Although Queen Augusta was clearly the most affected out of all of them, for while she stood at the doorway of the manor, she even had to cling on to the door frame for support as if she was about to faint at any moment.

But quickly despite it all the Queen did manage to muster up the strength to ask them all what the hell had happened during the past week when they were separated. The Queen and the rest of the family had after all accompanied Willy and his father to Britain, they had only separated in Scotland because she didn't wish to travel any more for the young children's sakes. And yet so much had happened in the short period that they had been separated for. And so the Queen looked to her husband the Kaiser for answers, but the man merely brushed off her concerns and said. "It's fine my love just let the boy be. He has a little girlfriend now, so what? The sooner the better I say, hahaha."

Although this relaxed answer and attitude of the Kaiser only seemed to anger the Queen even more. Even the other onlookers seemed baffled by their Emperor's relaxed attitude towards this complete stranger who was but a mere maid picked up from the streets in their views at least. After all Willy was the future German Emperor. Meaning that in the future Willy would be leading a nation that not only was soon to be the world's greatest industrial power, but it already had Europe's greatest land army.

Luckily Lili was not blind to the absurd nature of the situation that had presented itself to the Queen. As a mother to the Crown Prince of Germany, the Queen would understandably be worried about her son having bad influences around him. The Queen obviously didn't want her as a girl to be sleeping within the same bed with his son, so Lili was quick to promise not to do this.

This Willy although didn't like and so they made a compromise that Lili would be sleeping in the room next to Willy's. But to ensure that Willy did not sneak into her room again and break this deal, Lili decided to have the Baumers move in with her.

However, this she only got Willy's and the Kaiser's approval to, as the Queen merely looked angrily at the Kaiser and then ran away from the scene with tears in her eyes. Obviously the Queen was not happy with this situation, but lacked the courage to say it out loud to the Kaiser.

Well Lili at least now had herself and the Baumers a large room of their own, where they had a king-sized bed, a large sofa, a nice view of the back garden and there was even a bathroom connected to the big room. So overall this was definitely a win in Lilis opinion, she had a room and she was going to be sleeping with three young girls. Although she would only be sleeping with them as they were a bit too young for her, and well she was way too young, and then there was the fact that she was a girl herself, so yeah.

But then as the day was already getting late and the sun had began to set it came time for dinner. Usually this would be a good thing and a happy occasion, but not for her or the Baumers. For once they gathered at the table the hostilities continued and had even seemingly grown.

Now the servants and guards of the household looked at her and especially the Baumers with clear anger on their faces. Even the younger brothers of Willy seemed pissed as did the Queen who looked as if she had just been crying her eyes out for the past hour or so.

Then came the news that the Kaiser and Heinrich would be going to Berlin for work while Irene along with little Waldemar would be returning to their own home. And this worried Lili greatly after all she had just within her sleep accidentally awakened little Waldemars core. The boy obviously didn't yet know how to activate his powers, but what if he accidentally did and in doing so hurt someone for example or something much worse?

Surely she couldn't just leave the boy at this crucial moment right, plus she really didn't want to. And what would happen if she was left to face this angry Queen alone while Willy was off at school?

Conflicted on what to do Lili merely watched the scene before her with concern. While she sat at the edge of the long table right opposite of the Kaiser, Willy sat there next to her on the right. To her left was the three Baumers with Mathilda holding her little baby girl on her lap, then there was Irene and the Queen. While on the right side after Willy there was Heinrich and then Willy's two younger brothers who were old enough to eat on their own properly.

One of these brothers was Prince Eitel who was 8 years old, then there was Prince Albert who was 7 years old. The other three brothers were too young being only 4, 3 and 1 years of age, so they sat at a side table where they were being taken care of by the maids.

Other than that two guards stood at the doorway looking at her and the Baumers in displeasure. The atmosphere here was almost suffocating and made it hard for Lili to concentrate as she thanks to her powers could so clearly feel the negativity here. This arrangement of her sitting opposite of the Kaiser and the Baumers being there as well was clearly not sitting well with the Queen or many others as well it seemed.

Nonetheless the Kaiser merely chose to ignore this and ordered food to be served as he was starving apparently. So with great haste and elegance the maids brought forth all manners of dishes and sweets for them to eat. Although Lili couldn't help but notice the maids eyeing her and the Baumers with contempt which even the Baumers couldn't help but notice causing them to look down at the table in shame.

Lili gritted her teeth at the sight of this. Oh how she would have just wished to burst out in rage and give everyone here a piece of her mind, but no, she was different now. She wanted to be different and not some rage filled psycho demon again, no way.

Now she was a good girl and was going to stay that way, so she stayed quiet. Besides she might have had some favour amongst some of the Royals here, but it wasn't enough for her to just blatantly start criticizing the Queen of Germany and talking down to them all as if she were the leader here.

After all she was technically nothing here, just yet that is. She needed to prove herself somehow first and she needed to do it fast, but how? This she wasn't quite sure of, but she honestly was starting to warm up more to the idea of being in charge of them all here and now. She didn't need to be the Emperor of Germany or something like that here, but if she could at least stand on an equal footing with them here then she would be happy.

Then with the food served everyone fell into silence, placed their hands together in prayer as they then began to pray together by saying.

"The eyes of all look to you, O Lord, and you give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing. Our Father... Lord God, Heavenly Father, bless us and these Thy gifts which we receive from Thy bountiful goodness. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen."

Though all said this Lili as she usually did merely remained in silence for she honestly couldn't say the words out loud here. After all god hadn't spoken to her and the god from the church of Sighard was not the same as it was here, which was a problem as she had already been baptised within that god's church.

In this life no-one had ever baptised her and as far as she knew no living being on this earth brought her here. She was merely a creation of the true god who she didn't know, but in him she did believe and the purpose that he had seemingly given upon her within this life. And so Lili remained silent as she waited for the Christian prayer to end.

However this didn't go unnoticed by the Queen who immediately after the prayer looked at Lili and harshly said.

"What's wrong girl? Why don't you say grace with us? Are you not a follower of Lutheranism? Or are you perhaps a follower of Protestantism like most of you English are, or perhaps you follow those Catholic teachings of Rome and don't see our prayers as worthy enough for you to speak them out loud?"

Hearing this the Kaiser immediately slammed his fist on the table and said.

"Be quiet woman. The girl may be from England, but she has already sworn herself to Germany and so as far as I'm concerned she is a German now. And as a German she is free to follow whatever sect of Christianity she wishes to follow, for within Germany we do not care about such matters, for we are all Germans after all and that's what matters to us."

Willy seemed quite pleased to see his father standing up for Lili, although no one else was. Even Irene and Heinrich seemed a bit hesitant on this question about religion as they looked at her with those questioning eyes of theirs. After all this was not the modern era and here religion and morals was still a big deal to most people. Christianity was also split into many different sects here which people had not too long a go fought over, spilling a lot of blood in the process of doing so and so which sect you belonged to was quite a big deal.

And in knowing this Lili knew that she couldn't leave things like this. After all she didn't wish to create conflict amongst the people here. She merely wished to help these people and live in peace amongst them here, so she had no other choice now than to speak the truth and honestly say.

"No its fine my Kaiser. The Queen is right to question my faith as are you all, and I very much invite you to do so. After all I'm not the type of a being who wishes to restrict the speech of others, I'm a person who is always open to dialogue and not someone who wishes to lie or hide things from others. Although here I must admit that I haven't been all too truthful with you. You see I don't say grace with you as in fact the Queen is right in that I do not follow the same faith as you all here do. In fact I follow a faith that no-one else upon this earth follows, for my church and its teachings are not of this earth, but another one. They are somewhat similar to yours, but not the same."

Saying this Lili immediately got many mixed expressions in response, however Willy seemed offly curious as he asked.

"What religion is it? What do you call it and how do you then like to say grace?"

To this Lili thoughtfully clasped her hands together, looked down at the table and thought back on her past as she seriously said.

"Well there are a few names for it, but I personally like to call it the Church of the Holy Light. You see when you're heart is pure, intentions good and faith strong the light will come to you and give you strength. And it will not merely give you strength to fight back the darkness that plagues you, but it will help those around you and take it upon itself to save the fateful around you as well. And it does so with the most purest and most brilliant light imaginable."

Then Lili suddenly felt the temperature within the room drop as she fell into some form of a trance like state. Her eyes closed and the world seemed to turn to pure darkness, and around her she could hear the many negative thoughts of the people within the room. Voices called out to her saying, blasphemy, blasphemy, and some even called her words a sin.

And for a moment her faith was shaken, but within her moment of weakness she remembered her past. The images of her two lives flashed before her eyes. The good, the bad and the ends of them both seemed so clear to her just then.

She could remember Sam, the man who sacrificed himself for her, so that she could have a second chance at life. She remembered Jesus, her father who taught her the right ways to live that second life. And she could remember herself not listening to those teachings at all. And then she could remember Jesus cutting her in two with that brilliant blade of light that's holy light bit deep within her soul and sent her to the afterlife.

And now she was here within her third life seemingly standing at a crossroads. And here she had to make a choice, so that's what she did as she clasped her hands together in prayer as she said her next words with conviction and said.

"I wish to live this life with honour, a wish to live this life so that I can prove my faith to God by doing the duty that God has bestowed upon me, in which I am to see his chosen creations thrive and prosper. And although I am but a weak little girl in this life now, I will still not let fear of this weakness of mine overtake me. For the only thing that I truly fear now is failure in my mission to God. For I wish to see it done and in return find my salvation. And whoever dares to stand in my way must die for my mission is too great for any mortal being to let it fail. This is my pledge to god in his holy name, Amen. And while I might be the only one to knowing of the truth of God for now, I swear that it will not be so for long. For as his messenger who carries the holy light within myself and who was brought upon this earth thanks to his grace, I will see his message spread and his vision for humanity fulfilled.

For within the holy scriptures of light it is told that for humanity to thrive and prosper it must come together as one under the light. And everything else and everyone else is to be considered lost to the darkness and disposed of as such, for the light to grow and prosper it cannot be allowed to be hindered by the lost ones.

Mankind must not be weak, it must be wholly unified and strong so it may stand side by side with the armies of heaven itself. And only then will the end war to bring balance to all of existence begin. The armies of man and Heaven will face the armies of hell and it will be the war to end all wars, it will be the end war as it has been foretold by our creator God himself, Amen."

Now Lili sat in a sea of pure white with a deep blue sky above her that was filled with large beautiful clouds. She was now a fully grown beautiful woman of absolute beauty and perfection, she wore nothing but a elegant but simple white dress, and from her back four massive white wings sprouted out while a halo of pure white light was atop her head like a crown, and from her pure form of perfection a glow of white light shined out that made her milky white skin glisson and seem even more radiant than what it already was. Obviously she was not that what she had once been, and yet she felt this form of hers to be the true her and that what she was meant to be.

And that's when she recalled the words of Willy that now seemed as if they had been said Ions ago. She was supposed to say a prayer to their food wasn't she, or was she merely supposed to bless it? Well it didn't matter for she could do both those things with ease and so she did as she said.

"Our father, which thy are in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. And forgive us our trespasses for we shall not forgive those who trespass against us. So guide us from unnecessary temptation as we take upon our daily bread, which we your fateful have made in your stead. Give upon me your holy servant and messenger the power to bring thy blessing upon this food and these loyal followers of yours, Amen."

Then from her holy form a brilliant white light shot out and consumed all. And within this light all felt a comforting warmth touch them that made them feel at ease. It was as if they were laying in the warm waters of a hot tub as gentle waves of water brushed against their skin taking away all unwanted negative feelings and whatever physical or mental pains they might have had.

Although the light didn't stop there and it slowly seeped within everyone's skin, it went into their flesh, bones and their very souls cleansing them to its best abilities of all the bad that it touched. And as the light slowly lost its strength and dissipated away, only the silence remained.

The dining room that was but a moment ago filled with voices and the stormy thoughts of many people young and old was now completely in silence and stood still. Only a few candles and their lights still burned and made a small sound as did the chirping birds outside the few open windows of the room.

For Lili she knew not how much time had passed or what had been said. But as she slowly opened her eyes she only was met with herself sitting alone at the table, as everyone else was on their knees seemingly shaking in fear.

Although one boy wasn't, Willy was only on one knee right next to her as he took a hold of her right hand. He held it so gently in his two bigger hands as he looked to her with those beautiful blue eyes of his and said.

"Lili I know this might be sudden of me to say this now. But I cannot hold back anymore in fear of somebody saying it before me. So Lili would you please marry me?"

Now Lili was really confused and in shock as she yelled out in surprise.

"Wa WA what are you talking about Willy? What's going on? What happened?"

She didn't know it then, but everything that she had thought out loud about the church of light, the end war and everything was said out loud by her for all in the room to hear. And not only that but as she had fallen into prayer a brilliant light had come out of her body. Small angelic wings of pure white light had grown from her back and a halo of white light had come upon her head as she had begun to speak in an angelic voice saying her holy words out loud in German to them all. She even called herself the messenger of god and a being that held god's holy light within herself and the one and only true messenger of God as well.

And seemingly in the span of a few minutes she had totally shattered her dreams of living a somewhat normal life now. For even the freaking Kaiser and his wife the Queen were down on both knees before her. And all looked to her as if she were some godly being, except for Willy that now wanted her to marry him.

Oh God, what was she going to do now? Had she truly and utterly fucked up now? All she wanted to do was help the Germans out a little, but all of a sudden they all were now looking up to her as if she were god herself made manifest. Honestly Lili couldn't quite believe it, but it seemed that she had once again managed to create a little cult of her own here. The Kaiser had already started calling them the followers of the Holy Light, and she was apparently now the Holy Angel of Light.

And like so she had all of a sudden gone from a Demon Lord in her past life, to being an Angel of Light in this life. Truly God seemed to be working in mysterious ways for her. And now there obviously was no going back for her and so she could only face palm herself and begrudgingly accept her new faith, while saying goodbye to a quiet easy life on the sidelines.
