Sienna's pregnancy didn't come easy.
She hated the thought of bearing the child of the vampire she was forced to marry. And as much as she tried not to, during her pregnancy, she began to hate her unborn child too.
If Mrs. Barret wasn't there supporting her with every step, Sienna didn't think she would make it. But the older woman stood up as her mother and guided her through the path of motherhood.
The first time Sienna laid her eyes on her baby, when she saw the small boy's amber eyes, she didn't want to hold him because he reminded her of that man.
But when she saw the silver hair mixed with inky black hair, she realized that no matter who the child's father was, he was still her son, and she didn't want to make the same mistake her parents did. She didn't want to make her own child feel unloved and uncared for.
"Have you thought of a name?" asked Mrs. Barret while standing next to the bed where Sienna laid, cradling the little boy in her arms.
