"Davi, I have something important to tell," Sienna began.
Inside the house, the mother and son sat at a small wooden table with two plates of potatoes and meat and a bowl of blood. In the corner, Lemiel was sitting in an old chair. But even with the shabby surroundings, the vampire looked like a king on his throne with his commanding aura.
Sipping from the bowl of blood, Davi looked up at his mother and licked the blood on his lips. He put down the bowl and waited for what Sienna was about to say, giving his full attention to her.
"I want to introduce you to someone," Sienna said, feeling pressure in her chest as she continued, "Your father has come to meet you, dearest."
"Father?" Davi's amber eyes brimmed with curiosity. "But I thought he lived so far away?"
