When Sienna woke up the next day, the sun had just risen. Having not slept for more than a couple of hours, her eyes looked weary. Although the bed was comfortable and the room warm, a lot of thoughts kept her mind busy.
While she waited for Davi to wake up, someone knocked on the door. She went to open it and saw the coachman, Perry.
"Good morning, Miss..."
"Barret," Sienna continued, seeing Mr. Perry unsure of how to address her.
"Miss Barret," Mr. Perry's face remained stoic. In his mind, he could see nothing special about the woman, making him wonder why the duke had a son with her. Not to mention, she appeared to be of low stature, which was unusual because women from high society were all over the duke.
"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Perry, Master Lemiel's coachman."
"Hello, Mr. Perry. Might I be of any help to you?"
"Breakfast will be served in Master Lemiel's room, and he wants you and the young master to join him."
